Deborah Lippmann Gel Lab Pro Base and Top Coat, 15 ml

Amazing product, really does make my nails less brittle and with care will last a week without a problem

I've tried a ton of nail top & basecoat combos that claim to be as tough as gel and I have to say this stuff is the best I've tried. If I could afford it I'd wear it all the time but I keep a couple of bottles in reserve for occasions where I need my nails to last without chips or wear for at least 4 days. I usually go for Essentials "the gel" top and base coat to give me guaranteed no-chips or wear in my very hands-on job, but this is the budget option and while I recommend it, I have to admit I do get better staying power from Deborah Lippmann.It doesn't hurt my natural nails, I don't have to abrade them like I would for gel and when I remove it I can't feel any brittleness or de-lamination. Aesthetically it performs very well, stays glossy and really adds a shine and depth to ever colour I've used with it - it's a must for coarse glittery finishes!Only 4 stars because I wish the bottles were better designed - the brush has trouble getting the last drops out of the bottle, especially as the quick-drying formula means the last third of the bottle can be quite claggy.
