I like very much, but my arteries complain.

We thought we were buying milk the same as Parmalat, the Euro UHT milk that can sit on a shelf for months without refrigeration. Apparently the US versions are UHT milk, but NOT packaged in ultra sterile containers so they need refrigeration and will not last nearly as long as the Parmalat. (There are other brands of stable shelf life milk. So if you are looking for long life milk, you need to buy "Shelf stable" milk.)

It’s very important to me that dairy products come from humane farms, and this one checks out. There is an independent site that takes the humane factors for dairy, and this one-%at least for the milk—comes from small family farms where the cows are free to roam on grass pastures and are treated well. (This is not the case for Horizon milk.)I love, really love, milk, and I’ve gotten so used to the fantastic taste of Organic Valley. And, again, so import to me that dairy cows are not having their babies taken from Turk so cruelly to produce milk. If that’s how it is for another brand, then I’ll go without milk and wait for Horizin to be in stock again. If you’re curious why, and you care about how we treat animals, look for a video done by Stella McCartney and Chrissy Hynde. It’s horrible—if you are like me and love dairy products, you owe it to these sweet creatures to get informed. Cows are sweet, gentle, vegetarian animals. I know how I felt after having a baby. The idea of inflicting that kind of cruelty on such sweet creatures horrifies mr.And to boot—this milk tastes so good—it’s like ice cream! It also stays good in my fridge if I go away for a few days and leave a carton open. AND it’s not packaged in plastic—also so important to me.

If you've never tried organic milk before, you are in for a treat. You can literally tast the difference between conventional milk and organic milk. Conventional milk tastes so much more chemically, more processed. The organic milk tastes so much more natural, smooth, and yummier than conventional milk. Once you try organic milk, you will never go back! It's like the way milk is supposed to taste!I first purchased Organic Valley milk when I was on vacation in Hawaii more than 10 years ago. I wanted to try out organic milk to see what the hype was about. It was my first foray into organic food, and I was shocked at how much better organic milk tasted. Ever since that day, I have never purchased conventional milk again. I now also purchase lots of other organic foods as well, trying to eat mostly organics and at least all natural. Your body and your taste buds will thank you!When my children were born, I knew I wanted to feed them organic too! This Organic Valley Whole Milk is perfect for their growing bodies & brains! I feel confident in feeding them something that is all natural, organic, and good for them!!! :-)
