Truly not a very good book! I purchased the book in January and have read it and determined it is not worth the time or cost. The cover states ,” extra colored content.” Which is a false statement! The only color content is on the cover! Almost no figures, photos, or diagram. The one value that I’ll give the book is that it does present a decent outline of the hvac industry. Other that that, don’t waste your money!

My son has opted to learn this trade. Paul Main's book is a thorough, comprehensive guide to learning how to install and maintain HVAC systems. Highly recommended.

This is essentially a glossary of terms. No practical use case if you are considering installing or maintaining a system. If you want to know terminology, great, but handbook this is not and “essential” in the title is flat out false advertising. Oh! And “extra colored content” is referring to the cover art. lol. Find a better book.
