Rheem 6.5kW 240V Point of Use Thermostatic Tankless Electric Water Heater

Great heater! Fast but don't expect high flow or multi faucet use at same time with really hot water. You will need a dedicated 240v, 30 amp circuit to run this. Manual does not tell you how to remove the cover which you need to do to wire it - take the 3 screws out of the bottom of the cover, pry it open from there and pivot it back towards the top of the unit

Rheem 6.5kW 240V Point of Use Thermostatic Tankless Electric Water Heater---Pay attention to the GPM rating. When they say it is good for two faucets they are talking about two low flow BATHROOM faucets. This will not supply enough hot water for ONE Kitchen faucet. Otherwise the Heater is o.k. Takes about 15 seconds for the temperature to stabilize...Quickly gets real hot for a few seconds then turns cold again for about 3-4 seconds...eventually stabilizing after 10 to 15 seconds. AND NO my faucet does not have pressure or temperature balance/regulation. So much for instant hot water! A stable heated temperature was achieved by old school plumbing in about 5 seconds. The 8K model does the same thing...only it can supply enough hot water for the faucet or pot filler (not both at the same time.)

This was a breeze to install as long as you know a few tricks. The electric is fed into the case via a 1/2 electrical conduit fitting. To access the wire connections, simply remove the 3 screws on the bottom of the case and lift the cover off. The unit produces good hot water instantly. Very happy with the results.

This heater works very well for a kitchen sink and dish washer.

I’m happy because I don’t need to much hit water but This Rheem is the perfect for me
