Oh momma. Like you, I'm the king of budget knives - although I don't consider this one a budget knife. I have Civivi, Sencut, Off Grid, Petrified Fish, 704, Kubey, Spyderco, Eafengrow, Sitivien and the list goes on. This one takes the prize, hands down. 14C28N is, without a doubt, the BEST all around "budget" knife steel offered. The blade shape, love it. Although it closely resembles my Sencut Skarnax, which looks like my Civivi Praxis, there are minor differences including a slightly longer blade having a slightly longer cutting edge. The grinds extend further on this Photonix - the blade is everything I wish my others were. The handle is like nothing I've had before. Says G10, but it's more like a mix of G10, Micarta and wood all in one. Simply put, it looks great and the color (i got the black on black)... black with hints of brown and maybe a bit of gray, I love it. Absolutely has a "high end" look. The grippiness is outstanding, especially considering it's thin profile. If there was one thing I'd change, it would be the thickness of the G10. A hair, just a hair, thicker. But, as said, it grips fantastic in the pads of your fingers and hand. Handle shape not only looks amazing, but contours to my hand and fingers perfectly. If only I had purchased this from the beginning I'd have a lot more room in my knife drawer- yeah probably not. I will say, it'll be hard to get any of my other knives in the daily rotation. BUY THIS ONE!

I never received the package. It was supposed to be in the mailbox, but it was empty 😕 😔. I know for a fact that this knife and brand is a AWESOME one!!!. I would ❤️ to have it bc I have the mini praxis, and it's sweet. All in all, I'm giving Amazon a 1star for misplacing my package and for also knowing that I'm a BIG spender of their company and nothing is being done about it. Haven't seen my refund yet. But Civivi is a awesome knife brand for low price

This knife is nearly 9" overall and has a thin slicey 14C28N blade. A drop point blade that deploys and folds easily. Very good jimping on the spine buy could use a bigger finger choil for advanced grip when user is bare handed. Very good buy for the money.

The media could not be loaded. Another great knife from Civivi. I learned about the brand a few years ago, and since then I bought quite a few different models from them. I’ve always been very impressed with what you get for the price, and this knife is no exception. Besides the usual (razor-sharp, buttery, smooth action, good fit and finish and secure lock up), this knife also has a nice “grippy“ textured handle, and it’s lighter than I expected for a knife of this size. It seems to be a great knife for the price. I’m looking forward to putting it to use and seeing how it does.
