Got these for my father (77yr old). He has neuropathy in his feet and is on blood thinners so he's always cold. They are soft, warm, not too thick and don't cut into his legs. Washed several times and quality seems good, did not shrink. Will be getting him more soon!

My husband has poor circulation in his feet. These sox keep his feet very warm. Not only that they are all the same--no sorting. Wash like a dream, dry too. They are thick, but he can still get his size 12's into them. Good product.

The socks were a gift for my husband, so far he says there nice for inside, when he wore them hunting his feet did get cold in a single pair.

Other reviews mentioned that they expected to "be sweaty" while wearing these around the house... That is simply not how merano wool works. They also mentioned wearing "normal socks" under these. What a huge mistake. Cotton will NOT keep one warm. These socks are perfect for bolstering the cold or even great in mild weather. Wool is the perfect fiber. Your feet will retain warmth even when wet.I wear these daily outside in the cold weather. I work construction with composite toe(non insulated) boots. I avoid steel toes just to avoid the cold that they retain. Now with these wool socks, I finally have an alternative to the trusty socks I used to buy all the time (bass pro redhead brand "lifetime socks).
