A lot of room for your biggest valuables . Only problem is you have to bolt it down . Because evrytime you open the door unless there is a lot of weight inside it will tip over

Easy to operate and perfect size

After the recent CA fires, I wanted a safe place for my important documents. I’m very pleased with this decent sized waterproof and fireproof safe. It feels well made- solid and secure, but it’s light enough to carry because it isn’t very large. There’s a secret hidden key slot for opening if you don’t want to set a combination code. There’s also a shelf inside that can be removed if you prefer. Finally, this came with hooks if you want to hang it on the wall. Overall, I’m very happy and highly recommend this safe.

I already have a small fire proof safe and wanted a bigger one. My small safe is two layers of metal with fire insulation between the walls. The walls are also thick metal. This bigger safe has thin metal and no inner wall. I don’t see how it is fireproof. The corners on top were already dented when delivered. The inside upper door for extra protection is also thin metal and the actual locking tab was bent and the door when closed had a big gap. I straightened out the lock bar and it has no gap now. Overall I would think this was more of a locking file cabinet than a real safe. The actual door locking mechanism is very substantial with heavy lock-in bars. So when you open the door it is so heavy that the whole safe tips over. It has to be secured to a wall or floor to be stable. So if you are looking for a strong fireproof safe look for a heavier double wall fireproof safe.
