Gamo 611139754 GP-20 Combat BB Pistol

I bought this hoping to plink some cans in the backyard. (I live in a residential neighborhood ) Great functionality, amazing accuracy, and overall a great buy, but it is a bit louder than I expected. Would recommend!

Okay I'll start by saying that when I received this I was very very excited and very shocked at how much it looked like a real gun and not like a BB gun or airsoft gun if you will. What I did not like was that it did not come with any CO2 cartridges or Gun oil which it says it needs when you are loading the BB's into the hollow bullets that they fire out of. Before I purchase this gun I knew nothing about airsoft guns and did not know I needed to have CO2 cartridges. It doesn't say a whole lot about that in the description. Furthermore I feel like it should have at least come with one and it definitely should have come with a small sample of the oil that it requires. Because it took me several trips to different Walmarts to find the gun oil and also I didn't want to spend $30 on a box of 12 to 20 CO2 cartridges so I wasn't happy about the price of the cartridges and that you could only buy them in such a large quantity. So now I'll tell you about the guns performance. It definitely does the job if you just want to use it too make it look like you were carrying a gun and hopefully would make someone think twice about messing with you and I am recently widowed so I'm often out shopping alone with just my daughter and I and I like to have this very visible as I am loading things into the car after we leave a store especially at night. It totally looks and feels like the real thing. Now as far as when I tried it out shooting at a Target, I did notice that the sights on it needed to be adjusted for sure which the directions did not describe how to do that very well. I compared it to the shotgun size BB gun that my 9-year-old daughter was given on her birthday last year that is about as big as she is LOL. But the sights on it are so perfectly spot on that she's able to hold the awkwardly large gun in her hand against her shoulder properly and hit the target every time by using the sites. So I tried this gun after I also practiced one time with the shotgun and I had a very hard time hitting the target. Also side note, the directions say that you can cock the gun after each time you fire it but actually that's not necessary at all you can just fire it six times back to back to back without having to cock it again. So overall I'm glad I got it, I don't currently still have it I did give it to a friend of mine who wanted it really really badly and I was also scared that it would end up getting me shot if someone approached me with a real gun and saw that I had what they would have thought to be a real gun and I just saw it to be a high risk deadly situation if it was the wrong time for me to pull it out against someone who was actually ready to pull the trigger to kill me and was set off by seeing me thinking that was going to kill them because they didn't know it was just a BB gun. Anyways I hope this helps I would recommend it, I do wish the directions were clearer and that it had come with the things that it needed but I do plan on buying another one I'm just not sure if it will be this exact model.

This is my first Gamo air pistol I’ve purchased. I’m very pleased with it. I enjoy shooting air pistols and rifles when I can. I’m a handicapped person who has to borrow others pistols and or rifles. I’m kinda stuck with the the lock downs and no way to get to the range. Anyway your product has surpassed my expectations. It’s a fine pistol. I’d like to buy another. But thank you for making a decent air pistol for the money. It helps me to relax and shoot targets. All around good air gun. Sorry customer relations. Your on your own if you need help rectifying an issue. I wrote this thinking it was a different company. This was meant for a different seller. I finish to say buyers beware of this seller. 👎

Ordered BB's and CO2 cartridges shown as part of the "package" with the gun. The first cartridge did not "seal" and just sprayed all over. Next cartridge sealed and after loading BB's was able to shoot about 8 of them. Put safety on and later that day took safety off but when I went to shoot gun, it made a strange noise and no power to shoot the BB's. Changed CO2 cartridge and again this one did not seal. Tried again with another cartridge, it sealed, took off safety and tried to shoot. Same strange sound but no power to shoot BB's. Amazon will not take back the gun even though it is only a week old.

This would be a great gun..except for the trigger pull. In my case it almost forces me to change my grip at the last instance. Unacceptable distance on the trigger pull. Otherwise good gun and good value for the money.

Ok, lotsa different reviews for this item. I, personally, wasn't expecting to have toooo much fun for 36 bucks. I definitely did. It's build works perfect for me. I've been through 8 co2 cartridges at 80 to 100 rounds or so each, 640 rounds minimum/ 800 max so far. The photo of my groupings on the target is reflecting a 40 ft or so distance. Using a 20$ torch and laser bought on amazon for targeting. The fixed sight and my laser both stay on target an avg of 80 or above percent of the time. Basic Bbs aren't always exact. Especially a smooth short barrell. Dust, irregularities, temperature, all play a part. Also, purchasers talked about rolling bbs from the barrell. I only have that happen once I've gone halfway through the trigger pull, thenIt releases the bb. Idk what these other customers experienced, but my device is easy to use, doesn't jam, stays on target a majority of the time, fun, simple, and well detailed as a replica combat side arm. The mag is metal, and surprisingly well built for price. I use this for backyard plinking and target in my backyard in Arizona. 100+ degrees.

Looks great, a little bad-ass. Looks like a real handgun, as opposed to a BB gun. The trigger action is super smooth and easy. Fires nicely. Quite powerful. The semi automatic feature is really nice. You can fire off many shots quickly in a row. I wish it was easier to load the BB's though. Unfortunately, I don't think it fires all that accurately at distances. We were target shooting some cans, and you could have your target lined up perfectly in the site, and still miss a lot of the time, it just seemed off. But still a good all-round gun that I'd recommend. If you wave this thing people will run!
