These have been fun for my daughter during the winter months. We have old flooring in our house and she skates all over to keep herself busy. They’re not the same as real roller skates, which wouldn’t work in our house anyhow. These are much better if you’re dealing with multiple floor types, like heelies. Because you can move between different surfaces. They’ve helped her get more confident in her regular skates too. I’m not sure how these compare to other shoes of this type, as I’m only familiar with adult styles. I had a bit of trouble figuring out the wheels at first and I’m not sure that she knows how to pop the wheels in and out. But, we just leave them in because she won’t wear them out (she doesn’t like the style). They’re great for what they are - a heelie-type skate shoe.

These were a gift for my daughter and she loves them. She wears around a size 13.5 in her normal shoe, so I went with a size 1 in this. They fit pretty good with maybe just a little bit of extra room. They are a little heavy, but that's to be expected with the weight of the wheels. You have the option of having two wheels on each shoe, or just one. Definitely worth the purchase for that busy body child.

I ordered the Pairobin Roller Skates Shoes - 2-in-1 Skate Shoes and Sneakers for giving to a non-profit agency after I retained them for six months. I'm not familiar with skate shoes. The shoes are very heavy, especially compared to my cushioned walking shoes. The uppers are PU, but the materials for the balance of the shoes haven't been disclosed. These are lace-up shoes with a Velcro closure, and the innersoles and inside of the shoes are nicely padded. There is an on/off button and charging port inside each shoe; care must be taken not to damage these. Short charging cords are included without a charging block. I have arthritic hands and fingers and can't get the rear wheel back inside the shoe. The front of each shoe can be used with or without wheels, which requires a unique tool to assist with using the wheel or the cover plate. Special care must be taken of the tool and the unused wheel or cover plate to prevent them from being lost. The power button controls the lights on each shoe in various colors with steady or blinking lights. The Instructions are helpful.
