not worth the amount of money paid
Not waterproof and barely water resistant. Husband feels like he wasted his money.

Good as long as you understand what you are getting
This is a heavy duty work boot. The leather is thick and very stiff. The color of the boot is much darker than the picture implies, closer to black than brown. The insert that comes with the boot is garbage and should be something you might want to change right from the get go. As stated these boots are very stiff and require a break in period. How long that period is will be hard to say but it certainly won't be over nightI damaged my ankle a while ago and it now needs support. These will definitely help with that problem. My main concern with these boots is the stiffness and whether that will ever get better. I'm on the fence right now whether to keep these or send them back. Time will tell. This is an update. I'm sending these back because they are marking up all the floors in my house that don't have carpeting. Update... As boots break in they definitely become more comfortable although they were never uncomfortable, just stiff. Not sure I like the nubuck leather in a work boot although it's not uncommon to find. Overall these are shaping up to be a good boot but they are very heavy.

Used sold as new
Fit is great. Boots are definitely used and scuffed along top & toe. Obviously work boots are going to take a beating, but they were bought as new. I will update my review in the coming weeks and months.

Soles have minimal support
It's been years since I last wore Timberland boots, but decided to give this a go, based on the high number of positive reviews. At first glance, these boots look very attractive and very elegantly designed. However, after wearing these for a few hours at work, my knees and toes were begging me to replace the insoles, which are pretty thin. I inserted a pair of new insoles with much thicker padding, and although the situation was slightly alleviated, the discomfort persisted. It turns out that the soles for these boots are quite thin and offer the barest minimum support. They are also very rigid and inflexible. I ended my day with pain in my knees and slight blisters on my heels. Since I've already worn them, I'll be keeping them for occasions that don't require standing or walking for several hours. I also might try a new pair of insoles to see if those would help.

Nice fit
I love these boots. Intended them for work but they’re too nice to ruin in construction so they became my daily drivers.
