Amazing knife with some quality control issues.
I have returned two of these knives due to quality control issues. I am guessing they had a bad batch in the manufacturing process and don’t do final checks on their knives, or simply don’t care. Both of my knives had a large gap where the wood in the handle meets the metal. The lower part where the resin meets the metal was perfectly flush on both, however the upper half on both had a gap large enough for my fingernail to fit in. S35VN is not immune to rust, and this gap allows water to get in during cleaning that cannot be dried. Eventually this will lead to rust. Also not great for the wood. For a $100 knife, even at the half price which I purchased, this is unacceptable. I have seen pictures and reviews of this knife from other people that do not have this gap in the handle. I am giving the knife 4/5 stars because everything else about it is superb. It has the sharpest factory edge you will find on a knife, it looks stunning, and both the balance and feel to the knife are among the best I’ve held. I really liked everything else about the knife, so much so that eventually, maybe in a year, I’ll purchase another and update this review. If there are still issues with the handle I will change my review to 3 stars, but if the knife doesn’t have any major flaws I’ll change it to 5.

Feels good man
Super sharp. I feel like this is the first real chef knife I have owned. I'm a little scared of it because it's that sharp. It's heavy but I like that for my home kitchen. I might feel different in a professional setting. The handle is different with the hex style but it feels good in my hand and I find it to be comfortable. It's a good looking knife with kind of an ocean vibe going on. The slight curve of the blade is nice for my slicing style which is in between chef and santoku. It's a good size for everyday use and feels balanced in my hand. Very happy all in all and I am curious how long the blade will hold an edge. So far it's still razor sharp. Very happy all the way around.

Great Blade Steel
It’s rare to find a kitchen knife with CPM (Crucible Particle Metalurgy ) as the blade steel! Kudos to Fintiso for producing this knife with CPM

Great knife poorly made !! I am a professional chef
Great knife super sharp! Having issues with the handle having a trap between the bolster and the handle. Have had about 5 different knives now Keenan g the same issue. If it wasn’t for that it would be an amazing knife! Also customers service for them doesn’t exist. Tried to call the. Several times and no answer. So for those reasons I would say stay away unless you can deal with the poor quality controls !

Sharp knife
My son had received a Japanese knife that he loves for his birthday. I liked it too so I got my own. He enjoys cutting and chopping with this one too. Really sharp. I mean Really sharp! My son cut himself examining it. He was and is impressed.
