As a menopausal woman, and post bariatric surgery, my labs were showing a low Vit D. Rather than taking a dose daily, my MD stated a large dose weekly would suffice. I found Nivagen and have had no issues with it. In fact, my yearly labs are now very satisfactory, including my Vit. D!

This is a great way to get my vitamin D3 during the winter months. I take it every Monday instead of taking a D3 everyday. No side effects and I feel great. I think it also helps with being in a better mood but that is hard to prove that it is the D3. I would recommend this D3.

I was encouraged to really up my D levels after having calcaneal osteotomy with a graft that has been slow to heal/fill in. After switching to the once a week 50k Nivagen (had been on the 10k @ 5x a week Designs for Health supplement) my levels are now in the 80s range. The other supplement did take me from 31 for the last 5 years to the 50s range after 3 months so both are effective. I prefer the once a week option in this tiny pill as it's easy to take, is more affordable and lessens the number of pills I take in a day. As a side benefit, it's helped me get off the buproprion I'd been on for 5 years! Yay!

Too early for a review but I like that I only have to take one at week.

This was exactly what the doctor prescribed. Since taking it weekly there has been much less sickness. Highly recommend.
