My 7 year old loves this!!!! It is amazing and will really work well for our upcoming trip. I bought some sound level protective wired earphones to go with it, but it also has the ability for the parent to set a protective volume level in the device itself. It is an amazing value for the money once you figure out all that you can get with it. We also got the Bible reading from Kaleidoscope which are amazing. She also loves the Boxcar Children that we ordered separately and the Beatbox Card that comes with this starter set. We homeschool and it is great for filling in some time gaps while I need to do other things too. The creators seem more interested in children than money... a rare thing to find these days.

This Yoto has been so fun. I got it for my nine year old daughter that didn’t seem to love reading. This was the encouragement she needed! She listens every day and loves going to the library for new stories. All my kids sit around it every morning listening to the daily podcast.

Have an 8 year old that does not like disconnecting but he loves the 5 minute yoto stories. Highly recommend. It is compact and yoy can get lots more from the app. We did the subscription to get access to more content. You just buy the cards or make your cards for on the go but once you have the app, you can play everything also from your phone or tablet too.

Granddaughter loves it!

I used to love our Yoto Mini—until I found out it could literally catch fire and kill you. Both the charger and the device itself have been recalled due to serious safety risks, including overheating and fire hazards. We got so scared we threw ours away, only to find out that Yoto’s “solution” is to make you spend even more money on replacement parts. 1000’s of dollars invested and they won’t even provide a small good faith discount to replace the garbage it became.If you’re considering buying this, beware: this device is a fire hazard, and if something goes wrong, Yoto won’t help—you’ll just be forced to pay more.
