Needed a new lock for a metal security gate, this lock was ideal and at a great price plus you get five keys, works purfectly well really pleased with it.

These locks do not have the British Standards kitemark and therefore are not BSI (British Standards Institute) approved. They might not have any anti-snap, anti-drill or other features that you might see on a 3 Star BSI rated cylinder, but they do appear to have good dimple-key mechanisms. I prefer this style of dimple key because the keyhole slot is horizontal and you can insert the key in any orientation (unlike a traditional key - where it only goes into the slot the right-way up). One observation to note: Thumb-turn cylinders sometimes have a small screw-pin under the thumb lever itself that allows you to remove the thumb-turn lever (I've done this on numerous occasions in the past - where I liked the cylinder, but disliked the thumb-turn, and changed it with a different lock). This SEPOX thumb-turn cylinder has a flush pin instead of a screw and therefore changing the thumb lever will not be possible. These are 3 keyed-alike cylinders - which means that the same single key can open all 3 locks. It saves you having to carry extra keys or trying to identifying which key opens which lock. And you get 6 identical keys included. If this is going to be the sole lock to an important doorway, then I would suggest paying extra for a 3 star BSI approved cylinder. But as long as you're aware these aren't high-end security cylinders, they are, at £10 each, pretty decent for what you are paying.

Great set of locks. Very easy to fit and all of the keys works. Having a master set of keys makes all of the difference when you have lots of locks. It would be great if i can order more locks with the same coding but that just may be pushing it. If the company that supplied the locks can contact me to advise me if they can supply more locks with the same code it would be much appreciated.

Brilliant lock.

Initially very good value with 4 keys included. However 6 weeks into being fitted, I can no longer turn the key from one side of the lock, the other side works fine. Got to say the key started to get stiff probably 3 weeks into use. Now to late to return.

It's OK. But would be better if it could be dual operating( with key in both sides at once)
