Almost Identical to the OEM Tool
This is going to be a very niche tool. This is almost strictly for Pros. I'm a GM tech and this is spot on like the factory tool. It works well and holds tension against the chain while doing timing work on the LSY 2.0 and the 2.7 in the trucks. You NEED the other tool set for holding the cams and the crank if you're doing serious work. For whatever reason they are always sold seperately. Be sure to acquire the LSY Cam & Crank holders before digging into these engines. You don't want to mess up the timing on these vehicles there's no timing marks on these engines!

Decent tool
Solid tool, done the job. A little slop but worked just fine. I could see this having a few other similar use cases as well. Not something I’d really say would be fitting for a technician doing a timing job routinely but it’ll work and hold up for a while
