I recently purchased the Yeti Rambler 18oz mug, and after using it for a few weeks, I am thoroughly impressed by its performance and quality. UPDATE: Another "duh" moment. Wrote the review before using the bottle without attaching the included straw (they include 2, which is nice), and GUESS WHAT? I can drink out of it just fine WITHOUT the straw. Yay! So now this bottle is, actually PERFECT! That said, I just got it and haven't used it except just now to test it sans straw, so we'll see how it holds up, but Yeti has a great reputation, so I'm hopeful it will last me a long time. I also purchased a non-slid silicone attachment placed on the bottom of the cup, which also makes it quieter when setting it down.I really love the look and feel of my new Yeti water bottle, especially the solid integrated handle that is set at the perfect carrying angle. It's my very first Yeti, and after receiving it, I quickly realized my error in assuming that the straw flip cap wasn't just in reference to the pop open piece at the top of the handle but that there was an actual straw that attaches underneath the cap. Kind of a "duh" moment right there. I have another water bottle that I love and got here on AMZ called a Bottle Bottle, and I already know I'll be using that one more often than the Yeti because it has nice flip-top locking chug cap. Interestingly, when I went to the Yeti site to offer a product suggestion -- they have a chug cap but you have to remove it to take a drink vs. flip it open -- they don't take product suggestions. That seemed a bit on the arrogant side, but oh well. I still like this water bottle, but cleaning straws is a pain. If only there were a chug handle that flipped or popped open, that would've made this dishwasher-safe, hot/cold Yet Rambler bottle perfect.

From what I had heard this Yeti was supposed to be the best water bottle ever made. Well it’s not. The thing won’t even keep the ice in my drink from melting for twelve hours. Not much better than any other water bottle on the market. Save your money

Sturdy construction, dishwasher safe, and good flow rate on the bottle. Fits in standard cup holders.I was worried it would leak after friend with the same bottle said theirs did. Fortunately I have not had any leaks.
