I recently bought this roof rack for a beach trip with my family, and it was a must-have for our car. The canopy, beach chairs, and our folding wagon fit on top, which made a lot of room inside the car for other important things. I was surprised by how much the rack could hold and how sturdy it was, especially considering how much gear we had to move. But the setup process wasn't very clear. Even though the directions were clear, it took longer than I thought to line up all the parts and secure them properly. Having an extra pair of hands would have made the building go more smoothly. But once it was set up, it felt strong and safe. A set of locking straps would have been nice to have come with the cargo basket. Even though the U-bolts that came with it were fine, ratchet straps would have made things safer and easier to use, especially for attaching things that aren't round, like our wagon and canopy. The rack worked great on the trip to the beach. We were able to keep all of our stuff safe, and there was no wind noise or shifting during the drive. This was made much easier by the wind fairing that could be taken off. It made the long drive to the coast a lot more enjoyable. The TOOENJOY rack is a great buy for anyone who needs more room for their stuff when they go on trips. Just be ready for some trouble when setting it up, and you might need to buy some extras, like ratchet straps or a cargo net, to make loading and attaching your gear even easier. Even though it was hard to set up at first, it made our trip to the beach much more fun and easy.

I love this roof cargo basket! I had purchased a cargo bag, and roof crossbars, but I didn't like the idea of the cargo bag touching the paint of my car. This roof rack was the perfect solution because it fit my cargo bag, almost to the T. The installation is rather simple, but does take a little longer than expected since you have to screw in the bolts manually. However, once installed, it is very sturdy! I took a 20 hour drive down to Florida, from Chicago, and this roof cargo basket did the job flawlessly. Once I saw that everything was secure in the basket, I never once was concerned about the cargo bag falling out. Great purchase if you just need the basket!

Over all the quality is good and the build is pretty easy, however, my unit came out of the boxes with packaging just thrown back in and missing one of the screw caps for the mounting brackets that attach the basket to the racks. Not hard to replace, but still not fully what I paid for.

Very poor instructions with just picture diagram. If you & your partner do this together & still like each other once completed, you have found your soul mate. This unit fit perfect ontop to the cross bars that I also purchased here on Amazon. Drove over 20 hours, with a cargo bag attached & also drove in a tropical storm. This unit held strong.

The instructions are very unclear as to how to properly assemble the roof rack. The only way you know if there is a left and right bracket piece is to watch the video the instructions do not directly tell you that. The netting assembly is unclear as far as how it assembles to the roof rack. There is holes which look like they go into the polls and there is also hooks that make it look like it would go under the polls. unsure as of yet how the storage capacity works as have not have mounted it on the vehicle. would not suggest buying it if you’re concerned about the netting, not properly staying due to the assembly of the netting being unclear.

This one was about the only one that I could find that would fit on the back of my pickup topper. I've had it on for a while and I can't find anything wrong with it. It works for what I need it for. I'll probably cuss it some when I try to brush snow off of it in the winter but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Three stars just because it was a pain in the you know what to put together by myself. Other than that, serves its purpose more for aesthetic reasons. The brand sticker is not blue, it’s silver. I still took the sticker off.

Fit perfect for my jeep compass. We Used it to travel across the country. It held very well all trip. Surprisedly it fit 2 footlocker containers with extra room we were very impressed with that so that saves Us a lot of space in the back of our jeep. So to assemble took us a lil bit to do you definitely need to people had to get a friend to help. Came with extra screws too. It also has a weight limit make sure you look at that.
