Hi, can this be made just using a microwave? My son is a student and lives alone..

I would guess it could if mixed well before microwaving and during. I usually mix with water boiled from kettle till smooth, then finish in micro where it thickens up even more.

it does not say on the packaging the allergy advice is for wheat flour,celery,soya there are no ingredients that would lead me to believe its anything other than vegetarian, its very nice but make sure you follow the instructions it thickens up eventually do not add a bit more :/

The full list of ingredients are: wheat flour, vegetable oil( 100% rapeseed oil) palm oil, curry powder, coriander, garlic, salt, chick pea, chilli, mustard, fenugreek, black pepper, fennel, water, flavour enhancer, monosodium glutamate, coconut 1.5%, onion powder % 0.5% spice.

Are there any without the monosodium glutamate?

Sorry have not got scoobie - wouldnt taste the same without monosodium glutamate
