Great reference for your Baofeng radio

This book is only suitable for complete beginners, but even for them, it contains a lot of misinformation and misleading explanations. For example, the use of CTCSS codes is inaccurately described, and TDR on Baofeng radios is completely misinterpreted. The entire book reads as if it were generated by ChatGPT without proper technical review. Most of the graphs are useless and lack context—such as security level vs power consumption (for which system?) or encryption complexity vs decoding time in seconds without any meaningful explanation. If a student submitted this book as a project at any technical university, it would immediately fail due to the numerous inaccuracies and lack of depth. Not recommended for anyone seeking accurate or practical knowledge.

My husband luvs this Book & Radios he keeps in touch with hunting party & when he is in the shop working, they come in handy or if we are traveling to a camping trip he keeps one & I'm driving in another vehicle we keep in touch makes it much easier than a cell.
