Exceeded my expectations all around!
Bought these shoes bc steel toes were required on location for a photo shoot I was doing. Bc this is a first & prob only time I will need these, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. After reading reviews, I was a little nervous about sizing & comfort but my shoot was the next day & since I would be on location for only a couple of hours, I figured I could tolerate them if need be.With tennis shoes I typically wear an 8.5-9 depending on the shoe. Because I read several peoples' reviews that they ran big (but read reviews you need to order larger bc of steel toe) I decided to order an 8.5.They came in and straight out of the box the fit was perfect & comfortable & at first glance they were cute.My 2 hour shoot turned into 5 + hours of running up & down ship stairs & all over the property. My feet never hurt. The fit was good & the steel toe did not rub.I do have to say that I added an insert before wearing bc I have to with all my shoes. The insole of shoes are always thin & generally offer zero support- theses do come with thin non-supportive insoles. So add an insert. I also started w low socks- but brought backup in case the edges rubbed my ankles. Until you get them worn in, wear at least an ankle sock bc after abt 3 hours the insides of my ankles where the shoe top sits did rub. No fault of the shoe-I can't compare the weight agst other steel toe shoes- but while obviously heavier than a reg tennis shoe, these were not bad. I easily managed them all day.Based on my experience, I would recommend these shoes.

Good Shoes
I purchased my current pair of shoesabout two years ago. Considering that they have both a steel toe and puncture-proof sole, they are lighter that I expected them to be. Excellent traction and I haven't slipped on any wet surfaces. Not the most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned, but they are comfortable enough. For the price, these shoes are excellent. My original pair lasted for two years before starting to wear out. I just placed an order for another pair. I'm very glad that these shoes are still available!

Decent shoe
Well for 45$ what do you expect, after replacing the insole they were actually pretty comfortable. They do breathe very well on hot days. They look very nice. Only real downside I can personally say is they do NOT last very long. I'm a Auto Technician and I got about 2-3 months of GOOD use, after that they went downhill pretty quick, started with a weird clicking noise when I would step, then the shoelace eyelets popped out, then holes started showing up in the soles and the inner heel part FELL APART bad. BUT like I said what do you expect for less than 50$?? Overall I'm happy with them, I got about 4 months before I could literally not wear them anymore, now its winter and I'll be wearing boots as these are way to thin and light for cold weather BUT honestly I'll probably purchase another pair for the hot summer months and if I get one summer out of them I'm good with that, like I said they are pretty comfy and breathe good and very flexible.

Durable steel toe shoes
I've had them since July, they are still so comfortable. I could get a new lining but its not flat enough yet to do so. I followed others and went with normal size. One shoe my bf did a rolling technique on the steel toe to round it out better so it wasn't pressing onn my big toe. It worked and other than that the only thing is the material over the steel toe that the shoe is made of does stretch over time but not to a point you can't tie them to tighten (most shoes stretch anyway).. they are l8ght and breathable and after 10 hours 8n a concrete floor factory my legs and feet never hurt even after a 48hour work week. Definitely WAY better than anything walmart has for the same price or less.

BEST shoes I've ever bought!
I want to write a thorough and honest review so future consumers know what they're buying. I've had these shoes about a month now so I have a smidge of info about them. But first let me say that these shoes are SPOT. ON.I looked at the reviews for "Indestructible Shoes" and they were pretty mediocre so that's when I went on the hunt for the next best thing. And boy, were these shoes an upgrade.I work in a warehouse and no matter what kind of shoes I wear, my feet will hurt immensely at the end of a shift. Not with these! Sure, the first few days, your feet have to get used to them so you have your regular "cramping and soreness" of a new shoes, but besides that, I can be on my feet for 12 hours without any difficulty! There is some cushion at the bottom, but if you have flat feet such as myself, I recommend another pair of insoles inside. The steel toe works wonders, and my tootsies have been bruise-free since the day I've put these on!I regularly step on debris such as wood and nails and glass, and not a single thing will penetrate the bottoms of these shoes. I will say, they have some weight to them, but it doesn't bother me any. The heftiness of them sure help with balance!Since I've had these shoes, they've hardly had any wear and tear. If you like a tighter fit, I recommend getting different laces, but I appreciate a cozy fit so I kept he original laces.I WILL SAY THIS: GET ANOTHER SIZE UP.I've gotten steel toes before and had about 2 months of misery before I finally just threw them out. Do yourself a favor and get the next size up. Not for the size of the shoe but for the steel toe. That's exactly what I did with these and they fit just right. Don't be vain and adament about "always wearing your size" just go ahead and up a size, you can thank yourself later.I don't know if I'd be willing to recommend these for construction workers, as I know their work is a little more intense than a warehouse job. But these are pretty reliable shoes and I will definitely buy another pair when the time comes!
