I bought an entry level macbook air for portable computing power. I had a chromebook, but found I couldn't manage my Lightroom classic catalog portably. While I could edit with Lightroom (CC), I couldn't keyword, because the keyword modules don't sync (grr).I now export sections of my catalog that I want to work on to a catalog on an external drive. My only issue with working this way is that I feel I have to shutdown Lightroom before I close my laptop to quickly pack up...Enter the pocket! Because it's attached to the top and the cable is long enough to support opening and closing the lid, I can leave the drive connected when I want to quickly move somewhere.Just note that the drive remains powered, so it may continue to drain battery.Pocket has performed perfectly. It stays firmly attached. It is stretchy enough to fit my nvme enclosure / port expander, but holds it well. It's not falling out. Looks unobtrusive.Cost me much less than getting a bigger macbook and allows me to move between macbook and my desktop PC seamlessly.

Perfect and easy to slide the hard drive in and out. The adhesive is very strong. Size is perfect and does not cover Apple symbol on my Mac.

I bought 2 sizes. I am using this like a wallet for my laptop accessories - short cables, port adapters, cleaning cloth - and keep it loose inside the big outer pocket of my laptop case. So I'm not using the adhesive in this case. The two pockets are nice and stretchy, which both hold in the pieces securely while making them easy to remove. Love that these come in fun colors! Sturdy quality too.I also bought a smaller version to hold my SSD drive to the front of my case, and it fits perfectly. First two pics are this bigger product and last two are of the smaller size.

Love it! So versatile and functional. Since I travel often with my laptop, this item is perfect in keeping my external hard drive in place at all times. So glad I got it.

These work super well for holding my external drives. But I have found that if I am switching between a couple relatively frequently then my ssd will have a lip of fabric get in the way of the port so it can be annoying to have to move it over and over. Other than that, it is a great product especially for the price. Good quality and easy to use

As a video editor, I'm always carrying around a multitude of hard drives. It does what I want and sticks really well. I'm also happy with the breathability of the fabric. I was worried about hard drives overheating when I have to use traditional HDDs.In the bigger pocket I hold a Western Digital HDD and in the smaller pocket I have a small-size SSD that's about the size of size of a credit card. They fit snug, but again no problem. Writing this review over a year later and it's still on - despite multiple trips and the heat.My only suggestion, be careful putting it on because the sticker is very strong. I have a plastic case on my Mac, so I don't mind. But I'm not sure I'd want it directly against the aluminum casing.

It’s been on and never came off. It’s worth it

This is the 3rd "laptop pocket" I've bought. These are great for sliding external drives or port type things into to keep them with the laptop. This one has 2 pockets, layered one on the other. The elastic is snug when new. Depending on what you keep in them, they will stretch out, of course. They stick firmly. These will not easily come off! My slim external drive stays in quite well.
