This works very well in a pinch!
I got some of this quite a while ago and forgot I had it. I found it again when I was looking for something between the emergency vet and my vet after hours, and it worked great! Not only that, my dog loves it! The directions say to squirt it directly onto her tongue, which is not possible for me, so I put the same amount on a little plate and she lapped it right up! It's a great idea to keep some at home to keep from paying emergency vet prices until you can take your dog to the vet when they're open.

Use for diarrhea or vomiting
DiarrheaThis is the only pet diarrhea med which works on my pets. I use those super-size (very wide) droppers or open tubes made for babies - half full for pets under 10 lbs. If you don't have one of these, use a teaspoon. Shake bottle well. Keep in fridge after opening. Best results: give immediately AFTER EVERY LOOSE STOOL - you can't just give it once. Diarrhea should stop within a few hours. If you don't see a noticeable improvement after 24 hours, take pet to vet ASAP, and ask for a wide-spectrum antibiotic, not the awful liquid green stuff.If vet suggests a rice diet for a couple of days, try heating Campbell's rice and chicken soup, then give the pet just some of the delicious flavored rice. As pet gets better add in a little chicken. Finally move to Pro Plan canned chicken and rice. My pet likes it so much I keep her on it all the time!VomitingGive a single dose after pet vomits to soothe the tummy. (Only one dose if no diarrhea.) If pet continues to vomit, take to vet ASAP. (See above re wide-spectrum antibiotic and rice diet.)

Works ok but the dose was too large and it was hard to administer.
I must have misread the dosage when I ordered. It takes so much to dose the kittens I didn't have enough to solve the diarrhea issue. It did seem like it was working before I ran out.
