Absolutely the most comfortable hiking boot I have ever worn. Being completely honest, I do not buy these for hiking (although I occasionally do wear them hiking) but for work. I am on my feet all day and walk between 3-5 miles each day and my feet never hurt or get tired in these. They are completely waterproof as they advertise, and they last me a couple of years. I am in sales, so these boots are nice enough for presentation, but rugged enough to handle the weather and occasional messes that I encounter in my place of work. If you are like me and do not like boots around your ankles, these are perfect. As my title states, I just received my 3rd pair, and I have yet to be disappointed.

Great so far. I have wide feet, and ordered the wide even though some reviews online said the wides were still too narrow. But the fit is good. It took a few miles of local neighborhood walks to break them in, but they broke in fairly well and fast. After the break-in, I hit the trails and they are very comfortable on rocky sand and loose rocks as found in the desert. No hot spots. They are heavier than sneakers, but they are lighter than you would think from looking at them. They replace a pair of Asolo leather boots that I've had for many years, and these are much more comfortable right out of the box. And for their price, they seem very well built. I was prepared to pay more for a good pair of boots, glad I didn't have to.
