Legacy Mini 50X Twin Solar-Powered LED Spotlight (Warm White LED) for Outdoor Garden Yard Landscape Uplight Downlight, Waterproof, Black Finish

These are well made and work well. I purchased a few last year and all work well. Got more to replace ones my puppy ate through the wires. The light is golden rather than white which was hard to fine and adds a softer glow to the stone.

These are the best solar lights I've ever purchased. #1. They're small enough to hide from view (you can't see where they are on the attached picture of the Virgin Mary). #2. They're small BUT POWERFUL. 3. As long as you have the solar panel in a good location getting 6-8 hours of sunlight, these lights will stay lit throughout the night. The attached picture was taken @ 4am. We have 1 more hour of darkness here in Cali, then the solar panel will start the recharge. NOTE: My solar panel is located in the perfect spot & receives approx 10-12 hours of direct sunlight. Also, even on overcast days, it's still generating energy for those 4 little power lights. If they're good enough for the Mother of Christ....we'll they're good enough for you....

The media could not be loaded.  Tip for white wires: I didn’t want to see the wires from the driveway tacked along the bottom of the black facia - so I used a glove and poured some of our housepaint in my hand and ran the wires loosely which coated them well and took only like 10 min total. Did two coats let dry and then was able to tuck up just behind the facia and not being black anymore, it blends right in and is not noticeable at all. Our house is DARK - no street lights either. I wanted down lighting in my soffits and wired was too much work lol. I bought this 4 set and also the same brand 2 set. I am using their separate solar panels to make sure they stay on all night. So I have 3 lights on the large solar panel that comes with this set and two with the smaller solar panel that came with that set. Our house is heron white, not really much yellow in the paint color and sadly these throw quite a yellow tint. The video is showing them off, then high, then medium and low and off again. They are fairly bright, and do stay on all night, at least until 5am so I’ve noticed. Ultimately the color is not worth me taking them down because finding 4,000 kelvin is tough to find. I do like the 4 pack that’s listed here is a LARGE solar panel. Not the basic square one so lots of surface area. We are planning new low voltage landscaping lighting so I might replace these next year with wired 4k color to get rid of the yellow but they work for now and a pretty good bang for your buck.

This product seems well built, with the housing made mostly of metal. I've been using it for about six months now. I mostly operate it in a shady area where I only run one spotlight on it's lowest setting - and despite the mediocre sunlight this panel (being sized for two spotlights at regular brightness) has no trouble running all night. I recently moved it to a tree, though, where sunlight to the panel is better (although I'm still in a woodsy area), and with both spotlights on the medium setting it also lasts all night.The battery is replaceable, so don't throw the whole unit away when it starts to dim. I haven't had to change the battery yet, although I did take a look inside and it seems easy. I had to change the battery in a cheap floodlight from a different manufacturer recently, and it was quite a production trying to get it in there. It used the same kind of battery and connector as this product line, but there was so little space to maneuver and the cable had to be tucked in in just the right way to get it closed again. That's not an issue with the Mini 50X, and I'll certainly be favoring this manufacturer for future solar light purchases.Update after 18 months: two of the six LEDs have stopped working. My street lamp had a broken underground wire and was going to cost $1500 to fix. I thought I'd try rigging up a solar lamp in the globe. With a little modification we got it glued on and ran the wire down the pole and offset the solar panel. A diffuser was needed as it was casting a yellow ring at the top of the globe. (turns out the cap from laundry detergent was the perfect solution) So far it's performing well. Comes on at dusk and remains on until dawn after charging in full sunlight all day.

I first ordered these lights a few years ago, and they were well built with metal housing and worked great and were perfect for lighting up the house and landscaping at night. When I ordered 2 more a few months ago, they were branded as “updated 3.0 version.” I was slightly disappointed the housing was no longer made out of metal but lighter plastic. The lighting looked the same so I didn’t mind until a few months later when I noticed significant loss of brightness, and saw that some of the lights in the housing were out. It appears some water/moisture found its way into the cheap plastic housing. New and improved doesn’t always means better.Update: They saw my review and they issued me two new units under warranty, which are working well so far.Update again: Again within just a few months of installing the new ones they sent, lights have started going out again!!

Right out of the box good to go. Work like a charm.Not that it’s an issue with the product, but when the wires inevitably get cut while working in the yard, they are easy to splice back together.

4 light option. This is an upgrade to a similiar 2 light set that I had been using. The high quality metal and glass solar panel works well and has not degraded like others have the years. The lights are also metal and nice quality. The have pretty good light output and have 3 levels to balance output vs. length of run time. I have two sets and have ordered a 3rd. One thing that I have done is to only use 3 lights on one set, using it a highest output level in order to extend run time. But right now, in April with plety of sunlight, they run all noght anyway. An option for warm light vs white light would be a good addition.

Nach unserer Neuanlage unserer Terrasse haben wir in einem Blumenbeet eine Sichtschutzwand aus Cortonstahl aufgestellt. Tagsüber sieht alles perfekt aus, aber mir fehlte noch das gewisse etwas. Sozusagen der WOW Effekt. Da kam mir die Idee das Teil nachts anzustrahlen und durch den Lichtkegel hervorzuheben.Nach langer suche stieß ich auf das LEGACY Mini 50X Twin Solarbetriebener LED-Strahler Set und entschied mich dieses zu bestellen, da die Rezessionen vielversprechend klingen. Der Versandt erfolgte gewohnt schnell. Gleich an der Türe viel mir das Gewicht des Paketes auf. Ich hatte eigentlich nicht erwartet das der Artikel doch so schwer ist. Im - wie immer viel zu großen Amazon Karton - fand ich ein recht kleinen Karton in dem der Artikel - sehr gut - verpackt war. Der Verpackung lagen mehrere Bedienungsanleitungen in unterschiedlichen Sprachen bei. Gleich nachdem ich alles auf Vollständigkeit geprüft hatte, kam die Funktionskontrolle. Ich schloss die beiden Strahler an das Solarmodul an und verdunkelte den Raum. Ich hatte nicht wirklich damit gerechnet, das die Strahler ohne vorheriger Ladung funktionieren - aber dacht man kann es ja mal probieren. Und siehe da - es wurde Licht!Die Akkus des Solarmoduls wurden also vorher zu einem gewissen Grad geladen, so das ein Funktionstest vor der Montage möglich ist - sehr positiv! Ich stellte gleich fest, das für meinen Zweck die geringste Helligkeitsstufe ausreichen würde - war aber sehr überrascht von der Helligkeit auf der maximalen Stufe. Die Strahler sind echt hell...! Die Montage ist simpel und benötigt keinerlei handwerkliches Geschick. Wie ich der Beschreibung und der Rezessionen entnehmen konnte, benötigt das Solarmodul mind. 8 h direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. Wer das bei der Montage berücksichtigt, wird nicht enttäuscht.Erst nach der Bestellung des Artikels, fand ich den Hinweis von Amazon, das es auch ein Verlängerungskabel zu dem Modul gibt. Denn ich hatte zuerst vor, nur einen Strahler zu verwenden. Da ich jedoch das Verlängerungskabel zu spät gesehen hatte, musste ich nun mit dem Set klar kommen. Mein Problem war, das die beste Position für das Solarmodul recht weit von der Strahler Position entfernt lag. Also entschied ich mich doch den zweiten Strahler einzusetzen und damit ein Blumenbeet zu beleuchten (Bild 2). Dadurch kann man den zweiten Strahler in rund 10 Meter Entfernung vom Solarmodul aufstellen.Nachdem alles Installiert war, hieß es nur noch auf die Dämmerung zu warten. Auffällig war, das der Dämmerungsschalter - im vergleich zu einer anderen Lampe in der Nachbarschaft, die ebenfalls über einen Dämmerungsschalter betätigt wird - recht spät reagiert. Aber das liegt wohl an der Position des Dämmerungsschalters. Dieser ist offenbar im Solarmodul verbaut, welches bei mir in einer Höhe von rund 3,5 - 4 Meter, mit einer Neigung zum Himmel montiert ist. Und wer mal bei Dämmerung in den Himmel schaut, wird feststellen, das es dort deutlich heller ist, als in Bodennähe. Vor allem wenn sich ringsum Gebäude befinden. Das sollte man vielleicht wissen, wenn man die Strahler zur Beleuchtung von Treppen oder Durchgänge an Gebäuden nutzen möchte.Zirka 45 Min. nachdem die Dämmerungsschalter gesteuerte Lampe in der Nachbarschaft an ging, gingen auch meine Strahler an. Also für meinen Zweck vollkommen OK. Danach musst ich die Strahler nur noch korrekt positionieren und alles wird wie gewünscht angestrahlt.Fazit: Ich bin von der Qualität und der Verarbeitung des Produktes angenehm überrascht. Auch wenn die Strahler selber aus Kunststoff bestehen, sind dennoch alle Halterrungen aus pulverbeschichtetem Metall und machen einen wertigen Eindruck. Die Kabel und die Verbindungen machen ebenfalls einen wertigen Eindruck, auch wenn die Verbinder aus Kunststoff sind. Was mich besonders überzeugt hat, ist das Solarmodul - das schwerste Teil im Set. Die Oberfläche des Models ist offenbar aus Glas oder glasähnlich. Keine billige Kunststoffoberfläche, wie man sie gerne an anderen Modulen findet und dich meistens nicht UV beständig sind - das ist hier vollkommen anders und lässt hoffen, das dieses Modul sehr lange gute Arbeit verrichten wird. Auch was die Ladekapazität angeht, so scheint das Modul sehr Effizient zu sein. Nach der Installation hatte das Solarmodul gerade mal 3-4 h volle Sonne. Danach zogen leider dichte Wolken auf und später lag das Modul im Schatten. Dennoch reichte die Ladekapazität aus um die Strahler die auf niedrigster Helligkeitsstufe die ganze Nach leuchten zu lassen, ohne dabei an Leistung zu verlieren - Sehr positiv! Was die Laufzeit angeht - so kann ich nur sagen - hat weder der Hersteller nicht übertrieben. Von daher verdient dieses Produkt - meiner Meinung nach - volle 5 Sterne. Das Preis/Leistungs: Sehr gut! Ich bin angenehm überrascht und sehr froh diese Set gefunden zu haben und überlege, was ich sonst noch im Garten anstrahlen könnte...!

Por mi experiencia. Son mejores las luces de jardin con panel solar separado. Comprendo el compromiso del cable.Pero sea en potencia, que autonomia son mas fiables.Eligiendo naturalmente de luz calida, tiene el mismo resultado que la luces con corriente electrica.Tiene trés niveles de luz, segundo la esigencias, y autonomia.Ahora en primavera, (tengo la ventaja de tener el jardin totalmente al sur), con el nivel medio o bajo, me iluminan la casa, toda la noche hasta la madrugada.
