Works fine to keep rug from sliding around on hard flooring (we have vinyl type wood flooring). Easy to trim if your rug is a little smaller than the dimensions of the pad. It is super annoying to get it into place - it bunches up and folds over so much, so it’s nice to have multiple people to help if possible! It also smelled TERRIBLE like gross plastic-y chemicals when it arrived, so I hung it outside to off-gas for several hours before bringing it inside.

I really like this Veken Honeycomb rug pad. I got it so I can replace another similar one I have under a larger rug that has close to (but not quite) 8' x 10' dimensions. I actually like this honeycomb pattern better than I like the other rug gripper pads I have with either the checkered pattern (with lots of tiny PVC foam squares joined at the corners) or the more open-web stile (with lots of little puffy PVC foam dots joined by PVC foam strings). This honeycomb-style pad looks and feels just a teeny bit thicker. Also because the surface is more consistent, it's less prone to bunching for how I'm using it, and lays smoother - which works well if, like me, you will have it under a large rug on a hardwood floor. The pricing is currently $27.99 list and $19.99 on sale for the 8' - 10' size. Both of those prices are fair and within the range of $19 - $30 I've paid for similarly sized thin rug gripper pads like this before. i recommend this product!

I got this rug pad to go under a rug in our guest bedroom on a wooden floor, and it has worked exactly as expected! It provides a little extra cushioning underfoot, which is nice when walking barefoot, and most importantly, it keeps the rug from slipping. The pad was easy to trim to the right size and laid flat once positioned. There was a slight off-gassing smell when I first opened it, but I let it air out overnight, and it was fine by the next day. If you're looking for a simple, effective non-slip rug pad, this is a great option. It doesn’t add much padding, but for keeping a rug in place, it does the job perfectly!

I have a long runner carpet in my bathroom on tile flooring in front of two sinks. It's always moving and bunching up. We had tried using two smaller pads to try to keep it in place but that didn't help at all. We tried this one thinking that maybe one single long piece under the carpet would help. Well ... it's better than when we had two separate pieces but the carpeting still does eventually move around. It helps because the carpet moves less, but it's not a complete solution. I'm thinking of using a temporary double sided tape as a better / longer lasting fix.

I used this pad under a rug in our TV room. It offers a little extra padding and prevents the rug from slipping. The pad is easy to trim with just an ordinary pair of kitchen scissors. The only negative is that it has a strong chemical odor and had to out gas for a few days.

This does exactly what it should. It keeps my rug from sliding around on my hardwood floor. It's just a couple inches bigger than my living room rug which made it easy to set up. I just had to trim two sides to get a perfect fit. I've used these kind of pad things before and these are as good as I've ever used.
