Amazing supplement, easy to use, would recommend!

This is the first marine collagen I have tried that I can’t detect in my drink at all so it makes this so easy to slip into your daily routine. This is the most costly one I have tried but Dermatica is a well known and respected brand so I did expect the price tag but I have confidence in this professional company to know what is in this powder is going to be what it says and will be a good product. I have used this now for 3 months and I do feel like my skin is more glowy is my own personal thoughts BUT it’s the comments I have continually received in the past two weeks that has made me think this must be doing more than I can see as I have been asked multiple times what I’m using on my skin because I look really well, healthy and the only thing I have changed is this so I think it must be more noticeable to others than me. I would definitely order another pot to continue to see if I myself can start to see more results.

I normally use unflavoured bovine collagen. I put it in my coffee every morning, and I think it does help my skin to stay youthful. I generally stay away from fish collagen because it has an unpleasant taste, but as I was offered this to review I thought I would give it a go. I can confirm it doesn't taste fishy. However I think that's due to the artificial sweeteners that they have used in this. I can't stand artificial sweetness, they taste really unpleasant to me. You are not supposed to use this in hot drinks because they have added vitamin c, which is destroyed by heat. I did try it in just cold water, and it was saccharine sweet while being otherwise flavourless. I then tried to add a soluble vitamin c tablet which has an orange flavour, and the combination of the two became much too sweet. Therefore this wouldn't work with squash or anything else to flavour it. Maybe just a squeeze of lemon juice. I then tried this in my coffee, because anyway I get vitamin c from other sources. I didn't add sugar which I normally would, so I thought this would be okay. It just wasn't nice, overpowering the taste of the coffee, and I had to force it down. I will have to stick to the flavourless bovine collagen in future, which is also is cheaper per gram.

I have been using Dermatica products for a few years and they never disappointed me. A few weeks ago I saw this collagen advertised on their socials and was keen to try it. I am really happy that I can get on Amazon now. Collagen is responsible for healthy joints and skin elasticity, usually, our body makes it on its own using the foods we eat but as we age it gets less efficient at making collagen - hence why you might want to look at supplements. It comes in a 240g tube. I like that it is in powder form so I can easily mix it in my favourite cold drinks or just with water. The collagen also contains Biotin, Vit C, B2, B3, D and Zinc. There were no side effects that normally accompany the consumption of other powdered collagens: bloating, upset stomach, slow digest time, and gassiness (it's a thing!); just pure marine collagen at its best. For the price, I think you get an awful lot of benefits from this collagen powder so five stars all around!

I have tried a few collagen powders and bought this to try, hoping to add it to my monthly subscription as I use topical tretinoin from dermatica. This product is unfortunately quite artificial tasting and very sweet. I will finish the product but won't repurchase. Definitely needs reformulation.

We added this to our daily supplements and so far things have been okay. It’s takes time for ones like this to work so we can’t say that we’ve noticed a huge change when using it. Still, it has the right ingredients and is very easy to take. 2 scoops will be enough and it’s okay to have with water. Anything you put it in will be sweetened, which can appeal to some. For the money it seems on par with others. There’s nothing to show what kind of quality you can get so I wouldn’t recommend it over others but as it is it’s okay.

It tastes vile! It definitely has a slight fishy smell and although the taste is not too fishy, it tastes of artificial sweetener and something else that I can’t place. I tried one scoop in a full cup of coffee just to try it and I couldn’t stomach it. This item is not available for self service return via Amazon, so will be going in the bin.

This collagen powder dissolves easily in the water but I also like to drink it with a juice. It is gluten and dairy free what is very important for me. There are 30 servings in the box so it is a good value for money collagen. I would order it again. Highly recommended! Thank you for reading my review. I hope that you found it helpful.
