Yamataro 3in1 Boiling Water Tap Instant Hot Water Tap Hot Cold Filtered Boiling Water Kitchen Faucet Stainless Steel (with Boiler and Filter)

We have recently finished an extensive kitchen refurbishment. So with our budget heavily depleted we couldn't afford the big branded boil water tap. After a lot of research to find something similar but much more affordable we settled on this Yamataro 3 in 1 tap. It has been installed for 4 months now. My husband installed it himself without much bother. The "boil" water function works safely because you have to press a button hold it in and twist to get the boiling water I can't see anyone turning on the boil tap accidentally. Although the water heats to 98 degrees and therefore technically not boiling point it's not in anyway a issue for us. Perfect for cooking, sauces, cleaning and even making a cup of tea I find it totally fine. Like anything that is Stainless steel it needs a little care when cleaning but thankfully hard water is not an issue for us. We had 1 or two times when the electricity was switched off for works and we forgot to power it back on, so next time we went to use it the water wasn't boiling. So do remember that if it happens. All in all it's fantastic quality for a terrific price, I highly recommend.

This product is excellent value for money, arriving next day and well packaged. It is accurately described and with clear instructions it is easy to install. The product looks attractive and works extremely well with good water flow and control of hot water. I am very happy with this product and have already recommended it to family and friends. This tap has been installed to replace an Insinkerator tap and boiler, the former of which was dripping from the handle and the latter of which never got to a satisfactory temperature. The overall cost of the Yamataro was about half the cost of just an Insinkerator tap without the boiler. The tap arrived very promptly, was very well packaged and was easy to install with instructions that are clear and concise. They are worth reading thoroughly to ensure one gets all the pipes etc incorporated in the right order. First impressions are that this system has been well thought out, is of good quality and comes with an excellent warranty. The boiler is more noisy when bringing up the water temperature than the Insinkerator, but the boiler seems to retain the heat well and it responds quickly to cold water being introduced to top up tap usage. The system comes with 2 filters which are easy to install. A previous review made reference to the process of turning on the boiling water tap and I agree that someone with, for example, arthritis may struggle. However, overall, a very cost effective alternative to the more established and more expensive alternatives.

Opened the packaging, rust marks on the bag, rust on rear of unit and screws, screws look misaligned, returning this as I dont want to install what might be a faulty/leaking unit.

I previously had an Insinkerator tap but it failed after 8 years. A replacement was over £1,000 so I thought this was a real bargain. I was apprehensive but on unpacking it was clearly very well made. The brushed steel tap looks very smart and it easy to use. I did the installation my self which was really easy, just follow the instructions and pictures. I like how it came with two filters so I have a spare in stock now. As a bonus they include an insulated flask which is handy for picnics. Its only been in for a day but so far we are really impressed. At this price its a genuine bargain and highly recommended. Update... It's been installed for just under 12 months and works perfectly. I set the temperature to 90 degC. Which is great for tea and coffee and saves energy.

The hot tap, great but the nut to fix it to yhe sink not so great its only a ¾ nut and keeps coming loose. Had to buy another nut to replace it. Not do good.

So easy to install. As a woman with little diy experience i found this very easy to install. The only issue i encountered was that the way the tap is fixed was different to the tap I took out. Our old one used a nut that was inside the cylinder size of the tap making the space needed only as big as the tap itself whereas this one needed space around the tap cylinder underneath. So it meant I needed to sand away some extra space but that was the only issue I encountered and that wasn’t through any fault with the tap, it was the space I had available. Once in place it was easy to attach it all together and connect up as per the images in the book. I’ve been used it for 3 weeks now and it’s been great. Our kettle has gone in the bin and also freed up worktop space and it looks great. I had been looking at ones seen advertised on the tv and at a cost of nearly £1,000 I was unsure about buying one a lot cheaper but I’m so glad I did. This one is great quality. I wish I had taken the plunge sooner. Boiling water on tap, literally.

The Yamataro 3 in 1 is excellent value each piece came extremely well protected with dense foam. The tap itself is made of brushed stainless steel and is of high quality. The boiler is simple to operate and the large illuminated display is easily seen in a dark cupboard. I replaced an insinkerator 3 in 1 whose tap developed a leak around the spout and also had an annoying drip.
