Excellent Wheel Stabilizer
Got these for my two bikes I keep in the basement. They are held off the ground using a wall storage mount. I needed something to stabilize the front wheel from turning into the wall. These bike straps work perfectly. I love the gel lined strap to protect the paint from damage. I had been using Velcro to strap the wheels before. The Velcro had nothing to protect the paint from wear. I also always had to make sure the soft part of the Velcro was against the paint. Trust me, the gel is sooo much better and effective. It also keeps the strap from sliding once it is in place. The other thing I love about this strap is the leverage using the buckle to tighten the strap. FAR better than how I was dong it before. The straps hold extremely well, are very easy to use, and are great at protecting the bike and staying secure. Simple design but very effective.

Helpful, but be a bit cautious.
Very useful for stabilizing your front wheel while on the repair stand or while storing upright. Straps have a rubberized interior strip which helps protect your frame and wheel finishes. These straps are on the thin side, so longevity could be an issue. Two somewhat negatives: the plastic buckle/loop is large and can easily scratch your frame and wheel finish ~ be sure and position it in the void between the frame and wheel in order to avoid damaging your components. Also, the printed branding on both straps is a bit overwhelming. All in all, for the price, I'd give these ๐๐ผ

Too short for many modern 29" MTBs.
Nice simple idea that does work well for road bikes and most mountain bikes with 100 mm or less fork travel. Modern 29" wheeled mountain bikes with more than 100 mm of travel are likely too large for the straps to be long enough. The straps are well made - sturdy fabric about 1 1/2" wide with velcro (hook and loop) and anti-slip silicone. The last 4.5" of the strap is the velcro hook and the rest is loop, making for a total of about 26.5" overall length (a little shorter than advertised). The D-ring (plastic loop the strap goes thru to loop back onto itself) is sturdy nylon and large enough to push the end of the strap thru without any fuss at all.It would be a better if one or both straps were about 4" (100 mm) longer, but I suppose that depends on your end use. For modern 29" mountain bikes with more travel (>100 mm), a longer strap is a necessity.

Works great! Bike stays put on the wall mount now!
What a simple idea that solves a major problem. My bike's front wheel would be all over the place when I was trying to get it up and onto the wall mount. Also, once it was up there the front wheel would roll this way or that. This strap solves that completely. I have 28" tires and I've had no problem with the size.

It's too short
The strap works well with my Louf gravel bike with it's from suspension but it's too short to work with my Ibus mtn bike with 160 fox forks. The pictures in the ad make it look like it's more than long enough but it needs to be at least 3 inches longer. For a road bike or a trail bike with minimal fork travel it works good. The back side has a silicone material on it so it will not slip or damage the bike's paint. It's easy to use. I only use it when my bike is handing on the wall. I'm sure it would work while transporting the bike on a rack. But that could lead to damaged paint. I think I would use it for loading and unloading on a rack (if needed) but remove it while transporting the bike.
