Vanicream Z-Bar, Seborrheic Dermatitis & Anti-dandruff Medicated Cleansing Bar, 2% Pyrithione Zinc Z-Bar Helps Relieve Itching, Redness and Flaking, 3.5 OZ

This is the king of zinc bar soaps, the only one that works reliably. I've tried others and at best they do nothing, at worst they dry. your skin out and do nothing to relieve the itching and redness. The Vanicream dandruff shampoo is a good substitute, but traveling with the bar soap is much easier. I'm stocking up to avoid a disruption in the supplies like in 2024.

Honestly I tried this out of being desperate. My skin flares so easily and can be very painful. I do a lot of steps in my skin routine just to be comfortable to move my face to smile. But I'm always looking for the next thing that will help treat not just manage.When i first tired it, it felt different then I'm used to. I thought it may be drying my skin out too much. But it wasn't too pricey to try and I seen a lot of older methods treating it with a z bar (or similar just different brand) but it's not used a ton anymore. So I figured one or two more tries and if i5 stills feel wrong I would just toss it.Boy am I happy I waited. Just the same day but the end of the night for my next skin care routine. My face didn't feel that address anymore AND it didn't feel dirty and dry and most importantly not painful in any way. I continued to use it about a handful more times and I'm thrilled with the results.It truly makes my skin feel better and I find a lot less build up at the end of the day. It really manages that layer of my skin. I'm so disappointed cause I've tried such expensive methods. And this has been so helpful.I do still do my additional cares (toner, moisturizer, etc) after every wash which probably makes a difference too. But that's more I find has benefit my the most. But this soap is really going to help in thay deeper level. I can feel the difference. Will be buying more and more!

For those that were loyal to this product, they will agree that this has been a missed product for years. I’m not sure what caused the shortage or issue with stocking it but glad to see it is back as I used this a lot. eBay scalpers we’re selling these for ridiculous money during the pandemic during this shortage. I was turned in to this product from a demonologist and used it for years before they stopped selling it for the past 2-3 years…However, I and I’m sure many others, found alternative products that were just as good, if not better than this. It’s soap with zinc. Kind of simple recipe?I bought a couple recently and will still buy as long as they keep to the same formula, but if there is ever such a shortage and long term supply issue, I’m going to abandon the brand. I also use their Shampoo and generally like their products so cheers to them for bringing this back.Regarding the review with the mold, something is clearly wrong there. Mold growing on a product that is made with zinc sounds suspect to me. I would return and get a replacement as something is really weird there. I ordered two and can confirm that while I received your standard Amazon delivery in a bag that crushes the soap boxes when the Amazon delivery driver threw it on to my driveway like a bowling ball, the bags inside were not compromised and product was as expected.
