Scor-Pal SPC210 Scor-Tape Sheets, 6 by 6-Inch, 5-Pack

I will definitely repurchase this brand. One thing to note though, it sticks even if you haven't pressed it down. Unfortunately, I had to throw one away because it was not aligned. It was my first time using these and now I will be more careful when attaching these to chipboard.

Boy I wasn't sure what I was buying when looking for this product. I work in embossing tin then attaching it to wood or chip board and I was just going by a recommendation from a fellow tin artist I found on YouTube. I've had this in my stash for a few months and finally used it the other day and I can say that I am really pleased with the ease of use and how well it sticks to the tin and whatever I am attaching it to. I cut the size I need before I pull the backing off and attach to the tin, then pull the other side off and attach to the wood or whatever. No problems. The backing releases easily from both sides of this double sided tape sheets. Also, it takes a marker well. I had a bit of backing showing and edged around the piece with a Posca marker and the marker worked perfectly on the exposed tape. So, I am actually thrilled with how the Scor-Pal tape performs. I have some other uses planned for this tape. It's not cheap, but it is well worth the cost per sheet to mount my art tin pieces professionally. i bought this originally for the purpose of masking a chemical etching of glass. Upon arrival, I noticed a few things of note. Firstly, to those despairing like I did, this is indeed double-sided tape – it's just really challenging to remove one side of backing, but it does come off eventually. Working in a lab, I discovered this using phase diffraction microscopy, but even then, it took the use of far too many tools to remove just the backing.Otherwise, this tape worked marvellously! It's decently easy to cut and score, it's very flexible, stretchable to conform to curved surfaces, decently chemical resistant to most desired etchants, including hydrofluoric acid, mouldable to perfect your mask, and CO2 laser-cuttable. Be warned though, it's very gooey, tacky, and gets everywhere.

I used this product to secure two wool rugs to the underneath carpet...a 3'x2 rug and a 5'x2' foot runner rug. Previously, these rugs would not stay in the same place, even over night. Since I could not find double-sided duct tape, I used this product, instead. It's been over a month, now, and the rugs have not moved. I was amazed at how well this product worked! However, the crazy part was trying to figure out how to remove the backing from the Scor-Tape. I had to get a teenager to help me with that. Haha! ;-)

I use this for paper crafting. Paper goes on one side and glitter on the other, rub it in. I actually run the tape through the cuddle bug to make it's shape before I affix it to the paper. Now I am looking for projects to use the score tape on. Caution though, once you set it to paper be accurate because you do not get a second chance to set it.

Easy 2 use...very sticky...perfect for my needs...not forgiving so place were you want the 1st time!

I am still discovering ways to use this product! I have punched shapes to add glitter, put a strip on a card for adding foil or glitter and used it for attaching larger embellishments ot projects. Punch out a circle and add petals to make a flower.....the list is still growing. Anything this versatile is a must have in any artist and craft room.
