Good, sturdy canes.

Perfect height, good quality, exactly what I required. They are also quite thick and sturdy, will hold any plant upright.

They came nice and clean.They're more or less uniform when it comes to their calibre, for which they're quite resistant and sturdy.It's a shame they don't come cut, in both ends, near the junctions of the bamboo poles (even if, consequently, the lengths wouldn't be exactly 4 ft in all of them), because the dirt/soil gets inside the cavities/holes, and they tend to rot easily.I recommend.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I was able to purchase the size of bamboo cane I required. Arrived quickly and canes are now keeping my silver birch trees upright whilst the young trees grow.

Perfect for what I required them for, stakes for plants

Good quality canes, with no splits or frayed ends. Unfortunately, they were not 6mm - 8mm. One was 6mm, the rest were 4mm and almost 5mm. I'll have to order more to double them up as the smallest one (just under 4mm the whole length) is very bendy. If I'd known they'd be thinner than advertised, I'd have bought the thicker, longer ones and cut them to the length I needed. It would have cost less than having to buy a second pack to double them up. If 4mm or 5mm would still suit your needs, like I said, they're great quality, so I would definitely recommend them in that case, but I needed the extra width and strength that would give, so if you also do, maybe size up and cut them, just to be on the safe side. I might have got unlucky with mine width wise, but all bar one being below the minimum width isn't good. I know with canes you sometimes get the odd one that's below, but for 90% to be below and 10% only just the minimum is pretty poor for quality control. Like I said, great quality canes if you don't need the advertised width, hence the 3 stars, rather than a lower score. The item was delivered quickly and well packaged. If the width had been as advertised for 80% of them, I'd have given 5 stars. I hope this review helps people who need the width advertised.
