I have just purchased an Advanced Hedgecut 36 with a 36v 2ah battery and charger. Can this be used with the universal hedgepole 18?

Can what be used? The 36v battery in the 18v pole trimmer? - the 36v hedge-trimmer on the end of the pole? In both cases, no.

How long is the cutting blade and what is the maximum thickness of branch it will cut?

Blade length 430mm. Tooth clearance 16mm so it will cut up to say 14-15mm. Weighs 3.6 kg and is complete with a shoulder harness. Blade has 10 angles so it can cut not only the horizontal top but by angling the other way you can stand back and cut the vertical side very easily too. Battery is 2.5Ah and I think I have read somewhere it is good for 200 m2 of hedge on 1 charge. Certainly it will cut the average garden hedge at one go.. It's a first class piece of kit .

Can i use 18 volt2.6ah premium battery in both bosch gsb18 -2-l1 drill and the boschuniversal hedge pole 18 cordless hedgecutter

Unfortunately the batteries for these tool would not be interchangeable as the GSB 18-2-LI uses our 18V professional (blue) batteries and the UniversalHedgePole 18 uses our DIY & Garden (green) batteries which have different designs/connection styles to one another. Unfortunately our Professional (blue) and DIY & Garden (green) use distinct battery platforms meaning that the professional batteries are not compatible with the UniversalHedgePole 18.
