I typically burn really easily, so I’m always super cautious when it comes to tanning lotions—but this one is a game changer. I started using it with the tanning bed, and within a week I noticed visible color developing. I go tanning daily, and it’s been giving me the most beautiful, even glow. It doesn’t go too dark all at once—it builds fast but in a really natural-looking way with each session.I have extremely sensitive skin and a long list of allergies, but I’ve had absolutely no issues with this product. No irritation at all, which is rare for me. And on top of that, it smells amazing—like an actual lotion I’d wear even outside of tanning. This lotion is the best lotion I've ever used! It nourishes your skin, smells great, & I saw results after the 1st time use. I highly recommend. Ive used different types of tanning bed lotion & they were nothing like this one. Never even came close. Onyx is my only tanning lotion for now! I will definitely purchase this product & others made my Onyx again. Thank you for making such a great product!!!!

Update 3/25/25:This lotion works great for outdoor tanning! I laid out for 30 minutes yesterday and got a nice tan. Not as great for indoor sunbed tanning. Rating changed to 4 stars!Original review:I like the thickness of this lotion. The smell is a bit strong, but it does get lighter after it's applied and rubbed in. The main reason I only rated this product 3 stars is because I think I tanned better without it, and the main reason I bought it was to intensify my tan. I do like the way this lotion kept my skin from drying out in the tanning bed. I'll probably still use it sometimes, but I do think it also keeps me from tanning as dark.

I love this tan enhancer! It smells amazing. Doesn’t feel greasy or slimy. And I am very impressed with how quickly I got a dark rich tan. Little tip, put sunblock on first, then the enhancer. It helps you not get burned but Tan faster at the same time.

I bought this because the reviews were great but I’ve used it indoors and outdoors and have not noticed a significant change in my skin tone. I usually tan very easily. The plus is that it goes on very smooth and smells great!

This lotion gets me so tan outdoors and in a tanning bed. I hate lotion but it doesnt leave that oily feel like lotion. Its so smooth and always getting me dark!!

Does not work. Saw no difference with using this product versus not using it. Just lotion that smells good.
