Electric Friends Ki Ki the Cat Speaker Docking Station for iPod and iPhone

My preschool daughter loved this and it was easy to turn it down when it got too loud. I've had it for about 3 years now and the speakers just stopped working. It still charges but doesn't play music through the speakers. I was on the fence for 3 or 4 stars. I see it is at sixty dollars now which would make it 3 stars, but four stars for thirty which I bought it for.

Rather disappointed. It makes a weird loud sound for a few seconds every time I turn it in. Didn't return it as I thought it wasn't worth it for the price but wish I did so they would have sent me a new one....

Initial review: No problems that I can see but my daughter has only had it for about a month. Sound quality is not great but that was expected and it's not terrible either. Charges and plays music 4/5.Update: 4 months in and it's still working just fine. I can confirm that it works with the 3GS, iPhone4 and an iPod. Not sure about the 4S as I would have to check with the significant other. The regularly use the aux in as well and everything works.

VERY Cute! My daughter loves it, and the sound coming from the cat is surpising loud and clear! The only issue was that we couldn't figure out how to adjust the volume without reading the manual - you have to touch the inside of the cats ears! - cute but not terribly intuitive!

I got my KI KI today right out of the box no problem to put together to operate. I had to take a minute to figure out the adjustments for the volume, but once I took a look on the back of the ears found no prob. Speakers seem quite well compared to others I have used with my I Pod touch.I say the sound quality is quite a bit louder to those box type speakers. I also noted in the manual that it say"s that if you are using wav files or others compared to mp3's for music the quality will change so maybe that's some of the issues with the speakers some have spoke of, but as far as me I am very happy with KI KI. I:ll check back in a month and let you all know then.

My grand baby love love it. She is 7 years old and have it in her room, she listen to music while playing all the time. It is also adorable decoration.

I bought this for my neice for her 6 year old birthday gift. She absolutely loved it and took a picture of it with her ipod and sent it to me. I saw it when I went to her house and it looks just as cute in person. I like the cat better than the other animal options it seemed the cutest for a girl.

Although this item is super cute, it is not compatible with my Iphone 4S as advertised. As soon as I plug my phone into the dock, a message appears on my phone that says it is not a compatible device. If I use an adapter to plug my phone into the speaker port, it does work but the sound quality is not great and frankly, I feel the speakers should work just by plugging my phone into the dock. So disappointing. Returning the item.
