I've had a couple of different floor mats over the past couple of years of working in offices as well as working from home, and have to say I'm very impressed with this one overall! Initially I thought that it was going to be much like some of the floppy almost rubbery ones that I've seen from other brands, but with this item that is not the case at all. It's almost like you've dropped a piece of hard flooring into your carpet, but its thin enough that you aren't about to trip or stub your toe on it.Caught me by surprise to see such a large package outside of my door when I received this, but they are not joking when they say it is shipped flat. It's essentially shipped in a large box that just hasn't been folded together into box form yet, like a giant cardboard envelope. When pulling the floor mat out of the packaging the first thing I noticed was that it had very little flex to the material and just overall felt very sturdy.There weren't any marks or imperfections the floor mat as far as I could see, and even after I've been rolling around on it for a few weeks, still not a scratch on it! The product is so transparent that from a distance you may not even notice that it's even there, but that said, if you're a gamer who likes RGB then you'll be happy to know it will enhance the glow of the RGB installed on a desk as the light diffuses over the surface of the floor mat very well.The grips on the bottom are perfect, and this mat has not slid a cm from where I initially placed it. Overall I'm very impressed with Starcounters on this one and I'm very interested to see what other products home office products they may come out with.Hope you all find this review helpful, and that you enjoy seeing the pictures of my setup with the office chair mat in place. I did not like my clear plastic mat, but I have cork floors and need protection. This was exactly a design and protection what I needed at a very fair price.

I rated all of the features a 5 star, but it got a 4 star rating cause it won't stay put. One other reviewer wrote the same thing and I thought naw that can't be true. Well it is true. This thing moves about an inch a day if not more. I have about 3/8 to 1/2 inch carpet with a really good pad, so it feels really plush and this mat has really good spikes on the bottom to hold it in place, but it will not stay there for long. I am happy with it because I am a big dude weighing in at about 275 and this mat has held up now for 3 months and hasn't cracked, split, indented nothing. My chair rolls really nice over it. I just have to reposition it 2 to 3 times a week. I work from home about 9 hrs a day 5 days a week. If this thing was going to fail, it would have done so already. I may try putting some double stick tape on it and see if stays put. Overall, good buy and I would buy it again, even knowing it won't stay put.

They aren't kidding whey they hype this as tough - it is. I'm 6' 4" and weigh... well a lot more than I should. In the 300# + range...I purchased previous floor mats for more from Staples - and they usually last about 3 years. They show indentations but take a long time to start cracking.but this new one: I've sat for 12 hour days in my office chair on the floor mat and there's no indentation at all! I've picked it up and checked - nada!If it breaks or cracks, I'll report back! (but I doubt it will)UPDATE: About 13 months later - the mat is still flawless, not a single indentation. The only problem I can report, and it's not fault of the mat I guess, is that it "walks" a little bit. About every other week I have to re position it because it's slid over about 4-6 inches.UPDATE: It's been a couple of weeks since my post, and I'm sorry to say that the floor mat has CRACKED. I was sitting in my office chair when I scooted back a little and there was a loud popping noise. A single crack appeared under one of the chair's casters. The crack is about 3 inches long. I'll keep you posted.

I rent in a house with laminate floors. They are not, unfortunately, quite even, so where I use an office chair, the boards flex and chip against each other, destroying the floor. This product is light and thin and easy to lay down, and stops the issues. Comfortable and with a good look. Very pleased!

Nice chair pad , it doesn’t slip off from floor also the chair stays , it makes my room aesthetically pleasing , big enough for a corporate desk chair
