It is quality product at a fair price and fits perfectly.
I was nervous about my diagnosis but this part fixed the fridge and got everything back to normal. It arrived quickly, very well packaged and easy to follow instructions made the programming easy too. My fridge stopped cooling but the freezer was so cold it was icing over. Thanks to a few you tube videos I narrowed it down to the control board and this new on fit perfectly and solved the problem. 2 months trouble free so far so I am very happy with this purchase.

Don't know about long term but it fixed my problem
My freezer compressor was not shutting off, ever, so it was -27 deg F in there and it would not defrost because the compressor always kept the coils cold. It would ice the coils and I would have to defrost them with a hair dryer. The old control board diagnostic mode said the freezer thermostat was bad. I replaced it and the diagnostic said the new one was good but still -27 in the freezer. I replaced the control board with this item and it fixed the problem. The freezer is a normal temperature now and the defrost works normally. The OEM part from the factory lasted about 12 years; I don't know how long this aftermarket part will last. It is fairly easy to replace, though breaking the board along the score line is something I'd rather not have to do. As an addendum, I should note that the warranty is effectively a joke. If, like me, you can use your old control board in a pinch, keep it. The warranty process seems to be to send the board back, and they will ship you a new one. So you need something to run your refrigerator while you wait for the replacement part. Fortunately, though the board gave me the same symptoms as the original one (constantly -13 deg in the freezer, compressor never shuts off) after 9 months, I just had to unplug the refrigerator for 15 minutes to reset it and it seems to be working again. But I had already contacted the vendor to inquire about a replacement and found out that the process is not as customer-friendly as I would like.

My Amana isn't frosting over anymore! YAY!!!
I had a long battle with our warranty company because they could not find the right parts for our refrigerator that would not defrost and kept replacing smaller, less expensive parts. I did my own research and found the way to test this part and turns out, it was the problem. Even though I could manually put the refrigerator into defrost, it was not transmitting the signal on it's own. I replaced this part while following along with a video on YouTube and was able to have it changed out in about 20 minutes. It has been a few weeks now and the refrigerator is still working great and doing the defrost on its own. This part has saved me lots of time and money. We actually have a new refrigerator ordered but the delivery keeps getting pushed back, by months, because of shipping issues due to the pandemic. I am so glad I ordered it here as it was much more expensive on appliance part websites (like 5X as much.) I highly suggest finding the replacement instructions on YouTube. The instructions that come with this board are not enough to do the repair. The instructions had 2 steps listed. 1. Remove old part, 2. Instal this part (I am not joking, those are the instructions that came with the board.) I honestly wouldn't even be able to find this piece if I hadn't already watched a video of the replacement. They don't make it intuitive, but it isn't difficult as long as you know where all the clips and buttons to press are located. The board also comes exactly as shown. It is one piece and part of doing the instal is snapping the board into 2 pieces. I think this is the only part that gave me trouble. It is scored and it snaps apart just like it is supposed to, but as someone who isn't well versed in this kind of work, it gave me quite a bit of anxiety, mostly because I just didn't know where to hold it when I did the snap. I was really worried I was going to break something off and it took a little more force to snap it than I expected, but the piece is sturdy and the snap went well. My best advice for that is to just find a clear place to hold and go for it. Last thing is to remember to program this part. It works for multiple models and brands, so you have to put in the correct programming code when you are finished putting it in. The code is in the refrigerator on the sticker with the model and serial numbers. It is a 2 digit code and is typically easy to find. The manual does explain how to put the code in, but if for some reason your doesn't, it is easy to find programming instructions along with installing instructions online. I definitely am happy with this part. I know nothing about appliance repair but was able to change this out fairly quickly by myself following online instruction and most importantly, it works.

My 12 year old Whirlpool Gold French Door Top and bottom refrigerator was approaching 55 degress in the top section which was caused by the freezer section ice build up on the coils. In the past the lower freezer door was left partially open which causes frost build up. In every case I was able to put the freezer in manually defrost mode to fix the build up. This time the ice build up was too much for manual defrost so I removed the back back freezer panel and used a hair dryer and wet/dry vac to collect the water which would have over-run the small pan in the back of freezer. After thawing the coils, everything seemed to be back to normal but the freezer section was getting below -11F which was causing my Vodka to be slushy, not good! Turns out 80 proof Vodka starts to freeze at those temperatures. My neighbor, who is an appliance repair tech, told me the either the bi-metal thermostat or the Jazz board was bad. After ohming out the bi-metal thermostat which turned out to be good, I ended up ordering the aftermarket Jazz board which was $150 cheaper than the factory board. One sympton I overlooked when manually entering the freezer in manual defrost was that the compressor continued to run which is an indication that the Jazz board is bad. I ended up replacing the Jazz board along with the freezer section thermistor, just to rule out any other issues. Now my freezer goes into derfrost mode as scheduled. It's been so long that I forgot that the refrigerator used to turn off when the set point temperature was reached. So far the everything is working great as indicated by my Hi/Low Thermometer. Refer to Youtube for Jazz board removal/replacement. The included directions for programming the new Jazz board were very straightforward, GOOD LUCK!

This replacement board for the Maytag/Whirlpool/JennAir etc brand fridges (the Jazz board) worked perfectly and was a quick changeover that required almost zero skills. Programming instructions came with it too. I am in Australia, and confirm that the part I received from the US works fine with the 220-250v power we have in Aust. Purchased on April 30, and arrived on May 6. Very speedy delivery.

The board ordered from Factory Parts Outlet works great (I named the supplier as these reviews can get mixed up). The board is shipped flat but needs to be split along the scored line on the board. Just wiggle the small side of the board up and down a few times to split. My problem was the freezer would defrost very intermittently causing a frost build up. The problem all the fridges that use this board (Maytag, Kenmore and Whirlpool) is arcing across the relay contact causing pitting (see pic). You could order a new relay and replace it you are ok with a soldering iron - but you can only buy 5 on here for around the same price. Programming the board is easy - the code is on the inside (mine is 21) - use the freezer up and down buttons to enter the leading digit (say 2) and use the fridge buttons to enter the trailing digit (say 1).
