Surprisingly Perfect… as a Drink Holder!
It’s sturdy, stays inflated really well, and the inside well is the perfect size for keeping cans and bottles together without them tipping over. Plus the cute duck design was a total conversation starter. EVERYONE love it! We still appreciate that it’s lightweight, and durable and 100% matched our rubber duck theme birthday party! Was a little time consuming to blow up it definitely helps to have an air pump.

Bath Time Just Got More Fun
Bath time for babies can be a dangerous adventure, there are threats like drowning and head injuries to be concerned with. The Munchkin White Hot Inflatable Duck Tub address both of those concerns for me, the inflatable duck protects a babies fragile head from the hardness of the tub and it holds very little water to help avoid the drowning scenario. The inflatable duck has it’s own built in plug drain to allow the water to escape and a suction cup on the base of the tail end of the duck to allow for easy, temporary storage of the unit. The main reason I bought this product was for the White Hot Safety Disc that is in the tub area next to the drain plug, this helps so much for a new parent to know when water is too hot for a babies skin. The disc will turn white with the word HOT showing in red when the bath water is too warm for a baby and will turn solid blue when the water is safe for a baby to be bathed in it. You can purchase this wonderful inflatable safety duck tub through this link Munchkin Safety Duck Tub for $10.95 (at the time of this review). This was specially important for me as I purchased it for a gift for the mother of my granddaughter, she is a first time parent and has a lot to learn about taking care of an infant. The contoured headrest allows for the rinsing of a babies hair, if you ever tried this without leaning your babies head against something then you will know how hard this can be. They state on the box that this is a product for babies age 6 to 24 months old but I think it can be used with a newborn baby as well, this is just my opinion. This is the reason that you should always read a products safety information rather then trust a strangers advice in a product review, not everyone will see the world as you do. The bottom of the duck tub is inflatable as well so your baby does not have to sit uncomfortably on a hard surface to be bathed, there are two separate stems to blow up, one for the main body and one for the bottom of the bath tub area. The inflatable tub being shaped as a duck and the bright yellow coloring of the duck adds to the appeal to a baby. The duck is a symbol that most youth love and associate with fun and water, while the vibrant yellow coloring targets the eye sensory of a child. This is a great baby & toddler tub for both the child and the parent, it allows for easy access, storage and can be used in multiple locations. You don’t only have to use it in the tub, you can bath your child in any room of the house if you would like and as your child grows the duck can be used a flotation device if proper supervision is present. This tub offers endless hours of fun, your child would love this inflatable duck even if you inflate it with no water added, just toss it on the floor and watch your child climb and play. I bought this product as a gift for my future granddaughter because past experience with children has taught me that she will love it. White Owl

Fun for baby’s daily baths
We wanted something travel friendly for baby’s bath tub and this is maybe unconventional but works great for his daily baths. You inflate/deflate it like you would any other inflatable, not too difficult. We didn’t end up using it for travel though cuz inflating/deflating is a chore and we found a foldable tub instead. But this is cute and fun to bathe baby in a large ducky. My baby is in the 50 percentile and he has been comfortable using this tub from 8 months and is currently still using it at 16 months. Also great to use if you don’t want fill up a whole bath tub with water for a 5-10 min bath routine. Not the most durable, however, the first one we purchased had a leak at the tail end where the seams meet. We’re on a second ducky which seems to be holding up.

Soft on babies
I have bought this exact duck for each of my kids to use when they are babies and the size is perfect. Easy to clean, easy to drain, easy to fill and easily can be deflated to store away. Can travel with it better than hard plastic tubs. Quickly blows up so that it is ready to use. They hold up very well and super easy to use. I will be getting another if I need it. Comes with a patch and instructions. The best part is how much softer it is than using a hard plastic tub.

Great tub...and toy!
Pros: -Versatile as a toy and great for beach. It's pretty darn cute and makes for a great toy. My baby has outgrown it as a tub, but it's sitting in his playroom as a boat, a fort, something for him to load his toys in and push around, etc! During the summer we also took it to the beach a few times because I needed something for him to sit in (the ocean would have been too cold and scary) -GREAT for travel!!! If we ever need to stay over somewhere, we take it with us as it's easy to pack up and blow up/use. -Good quality, sturdy materials. The one I got is very sturdy and has thick, durable material. My toddler is ROUGH with his toys too, during playdates he and his friends jump in and out of the tub, push it around, etc, and it has never leaked. I might have to occasionally blow it up a little more, but that's only once a month or so, if even that. -Colored temperature indicator is helpful Cons: -hard to fill up. Because of the thick dimensions of the head and tail, it's really hard to fill it up with water directly unless your faucet is really really far from the wall. I always had a cup that I would hold under the faucet to redirect the water in, but it was annoying that to fill it up I would have to hold and tilt the cup the entire time (vs. using that time to get the baby ready). -very large! It takes up a lot of space, and realistically I don't see how it can comfortably fit into a bathroom you're using--you would have to put it on the floor as you use the tub or shower. We luckily have a spare bathroom for the baby, so I just kept the duck in the tub. -suction cup is worthless. There is NO WAY it can support the entire ducktub for more than 2 seconds to hang -no squeaker :-( Mine never had one -age range is questionable. It says it'll go up to 24mos, but my baby maxed out around 12mos (around 27lbs). He also started moving/standing too much that it became a hazard. Overall, I would highly recommend this, not just as an interim tub but also as a toy/travel tub/beach chair :-)

Multi-use item (bath time to pool float)
Great for bathing babies too big for sink, yet too small for bath. Uses less water. Gently holds baby up before they can sit upright. Kids love the fun duck theme and colors. Can be deflated (insert toothpick into valve) and packed for travel. Can be repurposed for the pool once baby grows out of it. Assembly is effortful, use an air pump, but one step (blow it up, done).
