Very poorly designed hose
The connection from the pipe to the pump is too flimsy...the pipe comes off way too easily. You could end up with petrol all over clothes. Luckily, I tested it with water.

Total crap!
Cheap plastic trash! Power switch doesn’t work, no instructions included. Only fit for Temu!

Good siphon, but maybe not ideal for fish tanks
I ordered this to make water changes easier for my fish tank, and while it does work, it’s not perfect for that purpose. There’s no filter on the intake, so I’ve had it suck up small stones, which jammed the motor. It’s fine if you’re careful, but I wouldn’t recommend it for an aquarium unless you only use it to drain clear water. That said, I do like using the motor to start the siphon and then switching it off to let gravity do the rest—it keeps things quiet and saves battery life. It’s lightweight and easy to handle, and the detachable design makes storage simple. It takes 6 AA batteries which is a lot! The flow is decent, moving water at a steady pace, but it’s not exactly high-powered. It’s currently priced at £17.99, which is fair for what it does, though I wouldn’t rely on it for anything too heavy-duty. Pros: ✅ Motor helps start the siphon easily ✅ Lightweight and easy to store ✅ Can be used for various liquids Cons: ❌ No filter—can suck up debris and jam ❌ Takes 6 AA batteries ❌ Not ideal for aquariums

Gets a Siphon Going
This seems to have some poor reviews, and i'm not so sure they are justified. It does seem to work better with 6xAA batteries in the adapters (supplied) than 2xD cells, which makes sense as theres more current available so I'd definitly suggest going that way. It's simple to use and once the motor has got a siphon going you can shut the power off and just let gravity do its thing, or you can leave the pump running to get a slightly faster flow. Neither are pump levels of water movement, but they are plenty fast enough for draining a sink or a barrel. Would I use this on fuel, possibly in an emergency I would, but otherwise id probably spend a bit more for something with some test/certifications. That said this is cheap, works well and feels OK quality wise, certainly cheap, but it IS cheap so I can allow it.
