We have an old Schumacher battery charger at work. I have never owned one so when I needed one, I looked at Schumacher as the company makes quality products that hold up for longer periods of time than many pieces of equipment that I have purchased. This worked perfectly and I had a vehicle back on the road quickly. After jumping my vehicle it still has 75% charge remaining to jump start another vehicle. I will buy another one for my other vehicle as it is compact. It will fit under my seat. Keep up the innovative work, Schumacher!!

I got the 1500A, works great, jumped a car today at -15°. Had it for almost a year. Today one of the battery terminal clamps was coming apart where the two sides pivot, can you buy new cables for it?

Works great. Really the perfect item to keep in your car, especially as a lone traveler. Charges small electronics, has a flashlight, and can jump start a car. Would recommend to everyone.

I bought this because I've wanted one for a while, but our Ford F250 (Big Bessie) with a 7.3l V10 had a bone dead battery, and I was sure it wouldn't be able to turn over that beast of a motor. It did turn it over and it started after just a couple cranks. I was very impressed. When I disconnected it the motor almost stalled, because the alternator hadn't had time to get even a little charge on the battery yet. Would recommend leaving it connected for a minute before disconnecting. It still showed at 75% capacity after the start and charged to 100% in about an hour. I'm a big fan of Schumacher and the quality here did not disappoint. Very happy with the quality, works as described.

One star down because it doesn't come with a case. Great starter otherwise. Charges fast, and definitely works to jump the car ... happened to need it days after receiving it. Quality seems excellent.

This was such a great purchase. The portable jumper charges fully within 2-3 hours, holds a charge for quite some time, has a built-in light, and charges phones/wearables which is an awesome added feature. It’s very simple and convenient to use. It’s lightweight but well-built and I love that I don’t need to rely on anyone if I need to charge my battery. Not only can we jump our car battery we also use it for our lawn mower. This makes it so much easier than pushing the mower to the driveway to use our car battery. I will be purchasing another one, so we have one for each of our vehicles. Highly recommended.

Something you never want to rely on is asking a stranger to jump your car. Either no one has the time or no one has cables. You can rest easy with this battery as you’re now in control. Killed my car battery (it’s at the end of its life) to test this and it started my car instantly. Will be getting a new battery, but I know that this will save me if I’m ever in a pinch. Best part of this is that it also serves as my phone charger (when your battery dies) wirelessly and decent flashlight. All in all it comes at a good price and does exactly what it needs to. Hope l’ll never need to use it, but I’m ready when I do.
