Writes well on plastic bags/containers, does not smear once dry (dries quick) and- bonus- it washes off with dish soap and water, so no more stacked labels on reused containers. Very effective pen. Lasts quite awhile. Do NOT write directly on anything. None of the long-recommended home remedies for removing permanent ink will work. Writing fades but is not gone. That is a good thing unless you're careless and assume you can remove the writing...I do recommend them.
