NOTE: These are a terrific value, but they are NOT a stand alone use item. READ ON!
These filters for Keurig are terrific...as long as you know to use them as a part of a "system"! Actually, these are designed to be used with another item called My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter Set. These are the baskets that go INSIDE the little filter set, which is actually a reusable part for certain Keurig models. (In others words, don't use them by themselves, drop them in your coffee maker and expect a perfect cup of java!) Certain models have a removable "bucket" where the K-cups typically reside. Once you pop that out, you can place your system in that spot and enjoy your favorite cup of joe with the same ease.If you don't mind adding another 30 seconds to your coffee routine, then this will be a BIG money saver. Consider this: on average, most Keurig K-Cups average about $2.00 per cup...you're paying for selection and convenience that suits your coffee maker, which is why you bought it. However with a little extra effort, your cost per cup [once you buy these filters along with the "system"], is cut down to only $.08-$.10 per cup--you read the decimal points correctly---yes, as in 8 cents to 10 cents! For those who are economically minded, these filters along with the My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter set can be a big cost savings. I recommend their use. I have noticed that no coffee grounds end up in my coffee and it is a terrific way to still get the variety I want with the added expense. I truly recommend these filters with the system.

Good filters, fit the cup perfectly, but I can't use a fine grind in them
I've used a Keurig brand reusable filter for a few years and prefer it over buying k-cups. The filter finally broke, so I needed a replacement. These filters fit it perfectly and look identical to the Keurig filter they replaced. However, I immediately noticed that the coffee that comes out is not clear, it's kind of murky. I used the same package of coffee that I was using with my original filter. I decided to try freshly ground coffee in them instead of bagged. I used to buy freshly ground coffee and selected the fine grind for the best flavor from my Keurig. With these cups, I have to choose a slightly coarser grind or too much coffee. The price is good and they hold up well. I like them, but I don't love them. When these wear out, I'll go back to the Keurig brand replacement filter.

My Answer To Using My Own Cache of Great Coffees
I'm cheap. However, I'm not so cheap I want to disembowel plastic K-cups turning them into reusable plastic K-cups with aluminum foil on the tops. As a result, I put on my big girl knickers and purchased the Keurig My K-Cup 2-Pack Reusable Coffee Basket mesh Filter as I have the Keurig Platinum B70. I had also purchased the Keurig My K-Cup Replacement Coffee Filter Set 3 pieces Gray Color and decided the E. Scrooge look didn't work for me with friends sitting around waiting for one person to use the replacement filter - clean it then pass it along to another - I'd just spring for the extra filters and allow everyone to enjoy drinking coffee together while it is still 'hot'. Yes - I do buy the plastic K-Cups but I have such great coffee from travels and friends who travel that I wanted to be able to use it all in my Keurig without reinventing the wheel. I feel my way saves me money and valuable time. I encourage you do what's best for you. This totally works for me. Easy to put in and take out.

Can now use any type of coffee in my Keurig!
I use my Keurig a lot and prefer the K-cups. However, they are expensive and do not seem very eco-friendly. I like these because they are reusable and you can use any type of coffee. I can buy a big container of cheap coffee and still use with my Keurig because of these. The one negative I have noticed is that it leaves a bit of a 'film' of sludge at the bottom of the cup, this occurs with every type of coffee I have used. Also allows some coffee grounds to get through. However, it is not enough to stop me from using it. I have read reviews about them being hard to clean. I do not see this as a big issue. You just need to give them a good rinse.

These are fine if you have time to keep up with the maintenance at keeping them in top running condition. I bought double (had 5 total) to make this easier, which did help.I had best results ensuring that:1) My piercing device (on unit) still had a good seal - this required finding a little plastic gasket to place around it.2) Use a medium to coarse ground - anything finer would clog mine up and send water/coffee out all over the place.3) I had best results by packing to the top or slightly shy of the top. If I tried 1/2 full or 3/4 full I would have a cup of grounds.4) After use, I'd tip upside down on a paper towel. This allowed the coffee to dry out into a nice little mold that I could tap out that evening.5) Once emptied, I'd rinse under hot water, scrub with a bristle brush (ensuring good flow through the mesh), then I'd leave soaking in 100% vinegar. This got old after awhile, and now I'm back to the cups...

Keurig My K-Cup 2-Pack Reusable Coffee Basket Mesh Filter -EXCELLANT
This is a must for any purchase of a Keurig coffee maker. The convenience of the Keurig is definitely the brewing of one keep giving you a fresh cup every time which eliminates stale coffee. You quickly realize the buying the single cups become very expensive.Buy your favorite coffee, tea, coco, espresso, whatever and simply add to the basket. The basket also allows you to control the strength of each single cup by filling either to the top for a strong cup or ¾ for a weaker cup, you get the picture!OK, so you create an extra step by having to empty and clean he basket. If you are a gardener then add to your compost pile. If not then just enjoy the monthly savings. By the way our family of two coffee drinkers saved $30 a month ( 4 boxes of K-cups at $10 each = $40 – 1 bag of coffee at $10).

Good but not Great
These K-Cup coffee baskets are exactly the same size as the ones you get in the Keurig Reusable Replacement Filter set. They work okay but for me they do not hold enough coffee to duplicate the great coffee taste of the coffee K-Cup because of it's size. I found a slightly taller Gold mesh Basket that works better for my coffee taste and is a perfect fit for the Keurig My K-Cup reusable filter set. (on Amazon search for Gold Tone Reusable Coffee Filters Fits All Keurig My K Cup Brewing Systems 2 Pack)
