Meets my needs/expectations
I bought these to keep my home made flash cards grouped together. The price per ring was pretty good. The rings are more than sturdy enough for my needs. Although, sometimes the flashcards (with a normal hole-punch sized hole) have a little issue going over the thickest part of the ring; I think it may be from the angle of flipping the card around. Some of the rings are harder to open than others, and there has been one ring so far that I have been unable to open. I would prefer that all of them opened, but 1/100 doesn't upset me.I may need larger diameter rings in the future and, if I do, I will purchase the same brand.

ACCO is pretty much the go-to brand for office/school supplies
As others have said, these are completely worth the price. I purchased 2 ten packs of a different brand at a big office store for my wife and they far exceeded the cost of this pack, nearly by double. She has tons of uses for them in her classroom, and none have failed. ACCO is pretty much the go-to brand for office/school supplies, and there is a good reason they have the reputation they do. We purchased the 1-inch rings, and one thing to note is they arrive in a small cardboard box that isn't shown in the product images. Great for storage versus the usual cumbersome blister packs when you buy these sort of things in a retail store. The value for the package in terms of price per ring, and the quality you get (strong, no flaking coating) they are a considerable bargain! Highly recommended!

A bum one here or there.
The product itself is as intended though right off the bat, I did encounter one ring that would not stay shut as the joiner shaft was not tightened fully during the manufacturing process. It's not an easy fix either. These come in a basic thin cardboard box that was already beaten up quite a bit and will have to find alternate storage to corral the remaining rings. These are large enough for a stack of index cards to be held and joined together for ease of use as study materials. Otherwise, when joined properly these are easy to open and hold together snugly.

Wonderful
These work as stated. They are sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. I use them to link together notecards for my studies. People have complained some of them are difficult to open, some may be, but nothing a man couldn't handle, its way better than having a loose product. I got 1 inch, but a 3/4 inch ring would've been good enough for my notecards. Once I run out I might end up getting more

Good vale, very functional.
Good price. Fast delivery. So far I've used about 70 of these rings. They all have worked just fine. Last year we used spiral binding on an alphabet book for kindergarten. Each letter has its own page and the children cut and paste to the page. The spiral binnding was hard to keep folded back to show only one page. We used 3 rings per "book" this year and it is working really well. No problem with any of the rings other than my hands were really sore from opening and closing them all in one sitting!

Ow!
These are so hard to open!!!I am stuck with keeping these now since I really need them. I found a way to make it easier to open though. WEAR THICK GLOVES. It is a lot easier to open, but try not to open them all at once. You'll break your fingers or that's what it felt like to me. What I also did was, once it is opened, I twist it back and forth to loosen how hard it is. Then I close it and it is easier to open the next time I open it. I hope this helps because it helped me a lot. Like some other reviews said, it does become loose after using it for a while. I'm not sure if it'll last that way, but for now, it's okay.

Well Made and Tons of Uses!
These little rings are fantastic! I bought them to bind laminated books my daughter and I make together and also to hold together groups of hole punched flashcards I've made for my class. The rings are 1" in diameter and can hold up to 175 sheets of paper together. For less than $9 to get 100 of them, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and that they are so well made. Out of the 100, there were only 3 or 4 that I was unable to open or that didn't close properly, so the rest worked just fine and stayed closed. Very pleased with my purchase and you can use them for lots of other things around the house such as hanging up scarves or even as key rings.

Great price!
If you are a scrapbooker, or mixed-media artist who uses book rings, these are a great value ... especially when compared to what you will pay for them in an art, craft, or scrapbook store. These have worked great for the projects I purchased them for. The box is a little flimsy, but that wasn't an issue for me since I repackage most of my materials anyway.
