Very relaxing. Actually numbs the inside of your mouth if you try to take it sublingually. Remember it's alcohol-based, so it will sting if you take it sublingual. Because it numbs your mouth, that means that the extract is very potent. So the quality is superior. The ease of use can I be any easier because it's just a little dropper that you use. The smell, smells like alcohol. One very important side effect about this, it will give you very lucid dreams. I did not dream almost at all, but when I started taking this I would have the craziest dreams. So keep that in mind

I’m a highly experienced Kava connoisseur LOL (both the traditional drink and tincture). On a serious note, you do have to take 7 to 8 droppers FULL in a little bit of water like like a shot on an empty stomach if you want to have anxiety relief. That is my experience anyway. I make this tincture at home from scratch in a 1:2 or 1:4 ratio but find that the six week wait time for the tincture is inconvenient so I buy this in between. I have bought countless bottles and they are always consistent and high quality. THE BEST brand on the market. As for the taste, yeah, tastes terrible but that’s how Kava tastes. And yes it numbs your mouth, in my opinion that’s how you know it’s the real deal.

After a few months of using this I can save it I'll never be a day without it in my life. I've had many, extracts and this is by far the best flavor in my opinion. If this is your first time with the extract you might not like it at first but I promise you it will grow on you. I actually crave it now. If I feel a panic attack coming on or some anxiety sneaking in I quickly do a couple vials of this and it seems to calm me very quickly. I don't know if it's all in my head or if it's actually working for me that fast but what I do know is it does work for me that fast to call me down when I'm feeling anxious. I keep a bottle in the house and a bottle in my car

Tastes like pure grain alcohol. It literally burnt my tongue. Worst kava tincture I’ve ever tried. Especially when a lot of kava users are trying to AVOID alcohol. Try any brand but this one.

I feel like it does relax me pretty well. The effect is subtle but noticeable. It doesn’t make me drowsy or too relaxed. If I’m feeling anxious before bed it can get me more relaxed and comfy making it easier to fall asleep but not knocking me out like a sleeping pill would. One problem I have is that it doesn’t last very long. I’ll typically feel it for maybe less than 30 mins. Not a huge problem when trying to fall asleep but if you wanted to use this for anxiety through out the day you’ll probably end up having to redose.My family members have also tried it and it seems to work even better for them.I just shoot the dropper into my mouth or sometimes I’ll put it in a drink. In the mouth it can burn and it doesn’t taste great but in a drink it’s not that bad.I have never tried any other kava products besides this and some kava pills so idk how it compares. Compared to the pills though this was better for me.It’s a bit pricey IMO but if you don’t take it too often it can last you a pretty long time.Overall I like it. I think at this point I’ve bought this like 3-4 times. Maybe I’ll buy another bottle again once this one runs out.

This stuff is amazing. For the past few years I’ve had really constant anxiety and I always wished there was something that could just silence my mind, and this really does just that and if you experience anxiety you know exactly what I mean. My inner monologue is kind to me, I can watch something or have a conversation and just FOCUS on it, and even when I’m not using it at a moment in time I feel so much better and excited for the future rather than stressed and overwhelmed. I know this will not work for everybody but I think it’s totally worth trying. I will say it does taste bad, but it’s more of an earthy spicy taste and it’s not terrible. Mixing with a small cup of juice and a straw and drinking it in a couple of sips, quick and easy is my favorite way of taking it. I also used to take 50mg of melatonin a night (so bad i know) and no longer take it thanks to this stuff, so if you struggle with sleeping this will definitely help you. I’m so happy that I found this stuff.

The first two days I used it I felt relaxed and I could feel the effects of my tongue and lips getting numb. I will also mention the first night I used it, I woke up in the middle of the night and had explosive diarrhea (that never happens). I looked up the side effects and they include, "Commonly reported side effects of kava use include headaches, sleepiness, sedation, diarrhea and distinctive skin rashes called “kava dermopathy”." If your trying to become sober this is not the product for you. It will make you crave wanting to drink even more because it has mild effects. I also bought this for sleep but if its gonna wake me up in the middle of the night its not worth it. It caused my stomach to hurt every time I took it. After a few days I tried to take it again for sleep and I no longer felt any effects. Seems like you have to take it once a month to feel anything.

I have been taking it regularly, I find 3-5ml works well for me, but 5 ml was too much for my friend. The bottle says 0.7 ml is one dose, but I think that is based on the fact that the dropper when squeezed once holds about 0.7 ml, but for me that is far too little to do anything. Even still, the value for the money is good when compared to raw unprocessed kava root, and it is far more convenient in this extract form. The flavor is horrible, but that's to be expected with kava. The extract definitely needs to be diluted before taking it, its highly concentrated ethanol. The effect has been consistent and I've used it many times now, I'm about to order a second bottle and will update my review once I have tried the second bottle about whether or not the quality is the same across batches. Also, no headaches or concerning side effects, which is something I've experienced taking other extracts in the past.
