20% Don't Start Off With This If You Are New To Vitamin C
This is a 30ml bottle of vitamin C serum by Dr. Althea. Comes in a dark green, glass dropper bottle. Packaging comes across high quality, arrives in a branded box and there is a hygiene seal.+ Cruelty free+ Vegan+ Made in Korea! I find Korean skin products to usually be better- £19.99 for 30ml if very expensive, i usually buy mine from around £4-8+ I didn't have any irritation on my skin and I have quite sensitive skin but I have been using vitamin C for years now- I would not recommend if you are new to vitamin C as 20% is high strength and can cause irritation+ No scent, I prefer this as added scents can lead to skin irritation+ Was easy to apply+ Absorbed into skin very well+ The bottle lasted me 9 weeks of every other day use, so just over 2 monthsOverall after a few weeks of using I haven't noticed any different than the usual brands I use that are half this price. Therefore I cannot give it 5 stars as I don't feel its value for money but it works quite well for my skin it just isn't that much better that I would be willing to pay double for. I would recommend it as a vitamin C serum for sensitive skin but there are also cheaper out there that do more or less the same job. I would also like to add that this is a 20% bottle so isn't suited that well if you are not used to using vitamin C7/10Thank you for reading my review and I hope you have found it helpful

Dr.Althea Gentle Vitamin C Serum
I like this Dr. Althea vitamin C serum and think it's my new favourite one. The water like consistency makes it super easy to apply, and it absorbs quickly without leaving any stickiness or oiliness on my face. It’s gentle on my skin, and I’ve already noticed a bit of improvement in my skin tone and pigmentation after using it for a little while. I recommend it if you’re looking for a light, effective vitamin C serum that won’t leave your skin feeling greasy

vitamin c serum
This is a review of 'Dr.Althea Gentle Vitamin C Serum | Benefits Skin Tone and Pigmentation | Gentle on Skin For Even Skin Tone | Korean Vegan Skincare for All Skin Types | 30ml'.This is a vitamin C serum with the active ingredient 3-0-ethyl ascorbic acid (vitamin c) and hippophae rhamnoides fruit extract (which is a fruit high in vitamin c). It also has niacinamide which has similar brightening and pigment reducing ingredients as vitamin c. I find this to be a very gentle but still brightening vitamin c serum. The best thing about it is that it doesn't have that typical vitamin c smell which can sometimes linger on the skin. It has no scent at all, which is great. The texture is also a light gel serum texture which absorbs into the skin quickly. It isn't heavy or greasy which would make this a great option for acne prone or congested skin. My only slight criticism would be that it sometimes comes out of the pipette slightly lumpy. I can't work out why this is but the lumps blend into the skin easily so it's not too much of an issue. Overall I really like the product and will keep using it.

Nice serum
I have tried a number of Vitamin C serum's and this is as good as many. It is light, easy to use and doesn't make you feel sticky. Good it is vegan and cruelty free. After prolonged use my skin does appear to look better. Quite expensive, but you have to pay for good products.

Not what I hoped for
I found the texture to be lightweight and non-sticky, which was pleasant. However, I noticed that it didn't absorb into my skin as well as I'd hoped, leaving a slight residue that lingered longer than expected. Over a few weeks of consistent use, I didn't observe significant improvements in my skin tone or pigmentation issues. While it's possible that results may vary depending on individual skin types, in my experience, the serum didn't deliver what it advertised.

Nice, natural - as it should be - Vitamin C serum that goes a long way
It's far too early for me to say whether or not this is brightening my skin or, magically eradicating the pesky age spots but, it is a nice Vitamin C serum that I was lucky enough to receive courtesy of the Amazon Vine programme. This serum is not the cheapest at £19.99 for 30 ml. there are plenty more out there for half the price but, I have used a number of Korean skincare products over the past 18 months and, without exception, have found these to be effective, non-irritating and in the main, natural and free of nasties such as paragons and, this serum is no exception.Pricey it may be but, a little of it goes a long way and, although I am in the middle of an allergy episode at the moment, I none the less tried it out on my skin, topping it up with a plain, gently moisturiser. Yes, I did feel a little tingling over certain areas of my skin when I first applied it, but not in any concerning (Yikes - wipe it off) way. The serum dried quickly into my skin leaving it feeling tight - to get those sorts of re-actions I rather suspect use of this serum in the long-term is likely to be beneficial and, I will keep using it.It comes in a dark green, rectangular dropper bottle - which is good, as Vitamin C degrades over time and definitely in daylight. I noticed no scent. The constituency is slightly viscose making it easy to apply and smooth in.I have only given this 4* because I have not yet had a chance to see the benefits but, to be honest, it probably is a 5 star product.

Great texture, no smell (plus point) and can see an immediate result
I’m all for the vitamin C for skin appearance. And have tried and tested a fair few. This arrives as described and as it appears in the description. It has a non offensive low odour. Lovely bottle. Easy dispensing. This isn’t a magic wand but you can see a little differnce in the glow after using. It’s got the texture of a serum rather than a cream. But the texture doesn’t sink into the skin. Which is a good point. For me.Overall great product.
