It does EVERYTHING from good to fantastic. It's a speed and storage monster. Coming from the Galaxy ecosystem, it took a little while to discover and use many of the features. But now, helping my wife with her Galaxy feels like writing left handed. You can do it but it takes a little longer. Lol. My next phone will be the 13, 14 or 15 whenever I upgrade, honestly I think it will still be a monster 3 years from now. It is totally overkill on everything and I love it. Review: Smooth, Fast, Clear. - One of the smoothest phones I've operated. Camera is good but not great compared to the top of the line phones (but not bad at all). Battery lasts forever too

My phone can beat up your phone.

Underrated phone
This is a really neat phone that probably gets looked over a lot due to the brand not being apple or samsung, the specs and customizability is really good for the price to my current knowledge. I recommend the flowy emerald color for something different from your generic black or white

Superior quality on a budget
The phone is absolutely fabulous! I can't keep my hands off it. The UI is so smooth and responsive, the camera (made by hasselblad) is ridiculously good! There's also a movie mode in the camera that allows you to turn your phone into a high res DSLR recording camera

Wifi Calling in the USA is LOCKED to T Mobile
Edit Jan 2026: I can get wifi texts but not voice (so at least I can use fir security texts) but if you update OS to 16 you get many features I don't want (AI everything and it overheats battery) and YOU CANNOT ROLL BACK to Android 15, they have put anti rollback in and you'll brick it All OnePlus phones are very good UNLESS you need wifi calling capability in the USA -- wifi calling in the US is LOCKED to T-Mobile. Cell Service is unlocked, but as of November 2025 OnePlus still has no plans to unlock wifi calling in the US
