Great tool for grip training, more versitile than a kettlebell! Get the prefilled one if possible, as it is a little fiddly and time consuming to fill it apparently. I got the prefilled one as it was at the time cheaper than the unfilled ones but i think it’s worth it even if that’s the more expensive option!

bought four of them as i was led to believe they are very strong, well they are not, 2 busted with in couple of months...not worth the money at all

I persuaded my previous company to buy a set of these for the activity room we had for training in. Despite my obviously unprofessional physique... I used to run a fitness club there and these quickly became one of my absolute favourite training tools. The company generously purchased us four pairs of different weights to give us a great set of training tools. They are safer than just about any other weighted object I've trained with, great for throwing around and even punching (with care!). They can be slid on a smooth floor to act as weighted sliders. They can be double or tripled up for extra lifting. They work grip like you wouldn't believe and they stood up well to regular use with no sign of wear or damage after 2 years or so.So I changed jobs recently and am in discussion with my new management about buying some more for the new place! Brilliant kit and I can't do without them now.I will apologise in advance for the poorly edited and very amateur video - just some bits that my training partners and I filmed over the year or two I had them in my last job but you get the idea. We ordered 1 each - 10 - 15 - 20 & 25lb pre-filled Sandbells. We really enjoy working out with them. Would give 5 stars except I was a little disappointed that both the 10 lb and the 15 lb came with the same color trim (purple). I guess I assumed from the pictures that each weight was a different color. It is not a big problem, but if the weights are laying around on the floor with the printed side down, it would be nice to be able to grab the color you had already been working with. If the trim color is not standard, then it would be helpful if they would print both sides of the bell.

This is exactly as described, well made and sturdy. I've used it for clean and press, Turkish getups, Zercher squats and hip curls, These are done as a circuit, a couple of times through. It's the perfect tool for this kind of training. Your grip really gets a workout too. I recommend this product.

Easier on the wrists and palms than dumbbells. Shifting sand creates a challenge. Smooth neoprene surface slides across wood and laminate flooring. Also functions as a nice pillow when doing PT floor exercises. Bonus: best biceps and forearms workout I've ever had has been with various sizes of these sandbells! They also work for single arm presses if you grab a handful of sand like it's a handle. Very fun for anti-rotation core work. I'm a big fan.

I used this for the first time at Camp Gladiator, and had to have one of my own. Since they are a bit costly, I bought one that was a little heavier than I am currently using, so I can grow into it. I have only had it a few days, but seems to be just like the ones at Camp that get thrown, tossed, slammed every day.

this item has helped me to maintain the strength that my physical therapist initially brought me to. now I can: lift various items around my home, including carrying laundry to my basement & maniuplating the vacuum cleaner; and get supplies from the pet store so I can continue to care for my four cats. This is definitely a quality-of-life life saver. I can continue to "age=in-place", with the love and support of my pets.

I’ve used this bad now for a few months and it really has not shown any signs of wear and tear. I’m drug it, flung it on asphalt, grass, cement. This has taken a beating and is still ticking. Absolutely love it

Love these things. Was introduced to them at a conference I attended years ago. We got them immediately for our facility. I have referred individuals to purchase for an at home program for strength/cardio combo. Now I have purchased for my own home. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. Product came without issue.

Received item as advertised and in a timely fashion. Same exact product i was using in a professional gym. I haven't used it yet (waiting on padding for floors in home gym) but seems sturdy and good quality.

This item is durable and gentle on the hands for a good workout. New motions can be carried out with this type of workout device and it is easy to store and can be fun.

Bought this to throw in my daypack to train for backpacking.. A weighted vest sits very differently than a backpack so this wirked great.
