Oh my!
It's hard to get authentic shoyu in the UK without spending a lot in Japanese shops. This not only tastes fantastic, it's organic too! If you've only had supermarket brand or cheap/standard soy sauce, do a taste test and see just how different this is. The depth of flavour shows that it's been brewed for a long time and the price at the moment of under Β£8 is an absolute steal!

Leaking parcel. Who is responsible??
I love the product. What a shame for wasting it because of an irresponsible packing.I would buy it again but not trust it will arrive safe... All the bottle could have been broken...

Great taste, great price, great product
This stuff has a really nice flavour to it. It's also a really good price and is organic, which is always good.

Let down by the bottle!
I can't fault the sauce itself, it tastes very good. What I would complain about is the bottle itself! The top is far too big, meaning it is very hard to just pour out a little. When cooking I've splashed far too much into the pan several times as I'm used to a kikoman bottle (which has a pour side and a drip side) Frustrating as I prefer the taste of this biona version. A smaller opening would be much easier to control.

Real fermented soy sauce that's affordable
Disclaimer: I've not tasted the really long ferment soy sauces so I can't compare to those. What I did do a taste test with was normal supermarket soy sauce (which is made via an industrial process rather than fermentation and contains no living bacteria). The Biona Shoyu had a more subtle but also deeper flavour that lasted without any aftertaste. Supermarket soy sauce by comparison comes on strong but has a slightly chemical/metallic aftertaste. I bought this primarily because it can be used in fermentation, where I'll be aging the ferment for many months. It may not beat the flavour complexity of premium brands aged for years, but it beats the heck out of supermarket brands and it is actually real and contains microbes that are beneficial for gut health.

Awesome π
Soy is generally not a good thing for men. But, this triple distilled gem is my guilty pleasure.A Japanese brand of this quality would cost you Β£15 a bottle - no joke.I buy the box of 6 because of the price and because I like to know itβs there. On top of my fridge.Except no substitute.Have a great day, man.π
