This was over all and amazing products.Very easy set up and up keepIt doesn't take up much room.It has great functionality and customizable settings for your personal needs. Amazing growth we had to take our tomatoes out they out grew the machineOur lettuce did amazing we were able to eat alot of it as the plant just keeps replenishing. Our peppers Just flowers and we are very excited to see how they come outI love how the black machine blends is and looks like it belongs with our other kitchen appliancesWe love our own little fresh kitchen gardenIt was a great project for me and my children. The build quality, ease of assembly makes it ideal for small classroom and Senior Assisted Living use. After initial setup users can plant the supplied seeds with provided tweezers. This is helpful with those lacking fine motor skills. Very good germination rate. With some seed there were 2 inch sprouts in a week meaning the cover caps used to create a greenhouse effect had to be removed. Some seeds took longer but that’s expected. The lamp hieght is easy to adjust. One should use a gentle touch raising the light by the neck. Very impressed with the overall look and quiet operation. Once the pump was covered with the right amount of water the unit was quiet. Them modes of operation are easy to select: germination, blooming. The time on and rest period are preset.

Great product. Easy set up. Seeds sprouted in 4 days. It's so fun! I bought another for my adult son for his birthday.

Rated it a 4 star for now just because I just set it up, it looks good and easy to set up. My only complaint is that most hydroponic systems come with extras such as sponges and cards to mark what’s planted these only came with the 12. I have an older idoo one and this one is definitely brighter and looks better as well. Hopefully it produces plenty of plants. I just started making my own hot sauce with crazy hot peppers and my idoo was and still is amazing I just wanted another 12 pod system hopefully this one don’t let me down

My first hydroponic garden is by a popular brand, that’s smaller and didn’t give me as many features for the value of the product. This unit was easy to set up, extremely quiet- so much so I had to check to see if the pump was actually working or not. The size is great. It has 12 pods and currently I’m using 8 of them. It comes with everything you need for except seeds. After only 3 days the romaine lettuce seeds I purchased separately have germinated. The ease of use and functionality makes me feel like I can grow anything.

Steps for set up, prepping seeds and planting easy to follow We originally bought a 10 pod system; this 12 pod unit is an addition. Units are well priced, easy to use and supplies are easily available online. we use our systems primarily for growing herbs to add fresh to our cooking, daily. We also have been able to transfer several of the herbs (eg. oregano, basil, sage,and parsely) to pots successfully in the warmer weather. Units are well designed. The only item that we encountered a needed replacement was the water pump. In part it was our fault for not pruning the roots of the plants often enough over time that to fouling up pump. new pump is inexpensive and accessible online and easy to replace
