I use this player to listen to the radio and to record radio programming. The station I listen to has been difficult to receive on other small cassette players. The station come in very easily and clearly with this player. The volume is very loud if needed. The recording quality is excellent for a small radio/cassette player. It records at a consistent volume and clearly. NPR fans rejoice.

The cassette plays very clearly, the cassette tray open like a pro-deck, built solidly, the analog tuning can pull in distant stations well as my old c crane digital tuning radio could. I highly recommend this product, and a great value for the cost.

I bought this radio with cassette player for my dad as he still has many music cassettes. He loves it and calls it beautiful. So far we haven't had any issues with it and the sound is great. My dad usually has his headphones plugged into and despite being hard of hearing he says the sound quality is great for him. The radio part works perfectly as well. It's also not a heavy device so it's very easy to carry around. This makes a great gift for cassette users and I thought the price was great.

Does what it needs to well. Wish it was a bit gentler on old cassette tapes. With these tapes, I don’t rewind or fast forward.

This is the best quality tape recorder that I have seen in decades. I am going to buy more books on cassette tomorrow.

This product came used. And the only way we knew that was because it has a piece of tape from a cassette inside. Also the box was ripped. So disappointed.

Great purchase for an elderly family member who is hard of hearing but still wanted to enjoy listening to his music on cassette tapes. Volume can be turned up very loud!

Pretty decent cheap radio/cassette player. Sound quality is not that great, but not too poor either. One thing to note is that even with headphones/auxiliary hooked up, the cassette player still outputs in mono. It will output the same signal to both sides of the stereo output, but one side will be inverted from the other. You end up getting this really weird audio cancelation effect unless you mute either the left or right speaker, or un-invert one side in post. This does not affect playback with the built in speaker as there is only one to begin with. still pretty annoying as I wanted to use this to convert some tapes to digital, but it won't work for that as I am missing stereo.
