This book is heavy, it is top quality in finish and beautifully illustrated throughout in colour. I am personally a dinosaur at the age of 71. I bought a Switch a few months ago purely to keep my mind active and I love playing train software with my six year old Grandson. Purchasing Zelda ‘A breath of the Wild’ came on the back of a recommendation. But I wasn’t sure what to do or where to start. Most people will just jump in and start playing but I needed some help! I purchased this manual to assist me in getting on the right track (Nothing to do with trains). Anyway, it transpired that there is so much more information in the book that I thought possible. Lots of descriptions, photos, maps, legends and recommendations of how to do things is extremely helpful. Don’t forget…. I’m a dinosaur and unlike many gamers who will just get in there is a talent I don’t possess. For me, this book is a treasure fully crossed referenced too. It doesn’t take long to find information about strategy and game play. So, if you’re one of the talented players and just want to dive in there and play, this book would be wasted on you. If you’re like me and want to extract the best possible game experience then this book is worth it……. …….Albeit a little expensive, it is worth its weight in Gold.

Being a seasoned gamer from the 70s, my approach to navigating a 3D open-world game like *BotW* is perhaps different from that of modern players. The **Complete Official Guide** is a masterpiece, just like the game. For a title of this magnitude, I absolutely need comprehensive plans, detailed maps, tips, documents, and clear explanations. This book provides all of that in superb quality, making it a joy to constantly refer back to.

What a phenomenal tome! Seriously the most beautifully put together, comprehensive and unbeatable guide to a game that I have ever seen. There is literally nothing to fault, beautiful illustrations, incredible depth of detail about every facet of the game, so much so that I forsee it taking years to get everything done, unless all you do is game. It is more than worth the price tag, it's cheap to be honest, as it's no lightweight paperback, it's a full on A4 sized, 520 page epic. Absolutely essential for any Zelda fan, not just as a guide to this game. I'll say it again, outstanding!

I really love this book - it's stunning. A whopping 512 pages of content, covering the main game (all story and side quests, shrines, detailed maps, bestiary, weapons and attire and so much more besides) as well as both dlc's this is the definitive guide for one of the best games of all time. The guide is really well set out in easy to navigate sections, providing excellent level of detail that is informative and clear to understand. The images are clear although font and things like map icons are quite small due to the sheer amount of information they cover. The print quality is excellent with high quality paper used. This is a simply stunning companion book, worthy of the game itself. Easily 5 stars for me. It's a beautiful book and proving extremely useful in assisting me with the game.

A beautifully put-together book. Lovely to look at and really informative. I sit and browse through it sometimes, just to understand the game better and sometimes use it as a step-by-step guide to work through the more tricky elements. It’s big and heavy and high quality. I bought for my son (of course I did) and we both love it.

This is a high end, high price product. A thing of beauty. A luxury for the Zelda fan in your life. And it is indeed all these things. Every page lovingly filled with information, artwork, and suchlike. And the cover, oh the cover! Beautifully painted with princesses and leaves and triforces. It is a thing to look at. But you can't help but notice that when you've had your fill of enjoying the wonderful cover, and open up the book to enjoy the pages inside, that every single page of the book is upside down. I mean, it's not a deal breaker. It's still usable. It's still beautiful. And there are very few occasions when you would need to look at both the outside and the inside of the book at the same time. Indeed, it's so heavy you really need to put it down on a table to read it anyway, thus obscuring the cover from sight. A beautiful reminder that life is short, instructions are complicated, and factory workers aren't paid enough to care.

If you are a fan of the Legend of Zelda series, particularly Breath of the Wild, then I highly recommend this book. It is filled with various strategies, artwork, and comprehensive information about the game. It is truly a collector's item that any Zelda enthusiast would appreciate.

I am so happy that I bought this book! A few days after starting BOTW for the first time, I saw this at a store and thought, "wow, that would be great!" but with the $40 price tag I left it on the shelf. Later that day I went on Amazon to look it up... lo and behold it was on sale for $22! I ordered it immediately, and have used it every day since. As a brand new BOTW player this guide has been invaluable. I've heard such wonderful things about this game for years and had a feeling I would love it too, and while that was true from the start, I still found myself very overwhelmed by just how vast this game is. I didn't really know where to start and had a hard time figuring things out on my own since the game offers little in terms of tutorials and whatnot. I was Googling every time I got stuck (which was a lot lol) and while the internet is a great resource, it began to feel like an even grander jigsaw puzzle trying to piece together info from dozens of different articles. Enter this book, and my gaming life has changed. It has just about everything I could need and more. The primer in the beginning was fabulous with all the tips about combat, environmental factors, etc, and all of the other chapters about specifics in the game are amazing. I seriously would have never figured out some of those shrines and side quests without this guide, or anything else for that matter lol. My gameplay has improved ten fold since buying this book and I'm enjoying BOTW more than I would without it, surely. I have the book open on my desk every single time I play now. And the MAP! The map is wonderful. I haven't unlocked the whole map in the game yet, so having a paper copy to refer to is really helpful. It's a little cumbersome to open/fold up every time, but honestly there's something about having a physical copy that's easier to look at than "interactive" maps online sometimes so I'm not bothered by it. As far as the physical aspects of the book go, I'm happy with the copy I got. I saw a lot of reviewers had issues with damage, and the top right corner of mine is a little bent from transit but otherwise the book is in really good shape. I agree that the text could be bigger too, but with the whole book at a whopping 500+ pages I understand why it's so small. I don't see any issues with the pictures either, they're good enough quality for me and show what I need. If there's anything I want to see a little more in depth I still turn to the internet, but overall the book is my first and usually last resource every time. And of course, the cover is beautiful too--it'll be a great display/collector's piece for whenever I'm finished with it. To sum up this long review, I couldn't be more pleased. This guide is worth every penny of the $22 I paid, and after cracking it open and seeing all it has to offer, it's worth the full $40 price tag too. I foresee myself enjoying BOTW for a long, long time to come with this book right by my side. And whenever I get to play TOTK, I'll be buying that guidebook too! I'm officially addicted to the Legend of Zelda franchise and this guidebook is partially to thank for it. :)

The item is well protected for delivery. Just like most reviews, the wording in the whole guide is quite small. However, it can still be read easily because you will only read bit by bit while you are playing the game. The pictures are clear for you to understand what is to be done in order to get the items or where to move in order to reach somewhere. Highly recommend to every gamer that is looking for a complete guide book.

Entrega e embalagem da Amazon deixa muito a desejar, os responsáveis pelas operações esquece do cenário brasileiro, rodovias, automóveis, recursos etc. só vem solto enrolado em um papelão, o livre veio amassado o canto inferior, isso quebra a experiência, esse é um item de coleção, deveriam ter uma atenção especial nesse tipo de entrega…. Todas minhas compras na Amazon tem esse problema, quando é um produto que tem sua embalagem original vem vem por já ter as proteções do fabricante, quando é um item avulso, como, jogo, livro, etc. sempre tenho problemas.
